I never realized how much you put into editing until watching the live streams here and I really appreciate the video experience you provide on youtube
I can't believe Jolly had the same goof he did with the other mod's keypad puzzle, which is to manage to open the door and then just stand there till it closes 😂
the best hl mod ive ever played. so good, fun, deep, interesting, full of secrets, hard, rage inducting and mapping even better than valve. well done richman. u r the boss. and second round around facility after completing first course was nice surprise! love this mod
Residuals Point and Life are both in English since they use entirely stock HL1, BS and OP4 audio. However both mods require a guide to actually complete 'properly' as Residual Point has two secret final levels accessed only through a specific action on what is otherwise a really abrupt ending and Residual Life has straightup two routes, the second of which requires hard difficulty and is one of the most absurdly difficult combat segments in any HL mod period. And if you aren't using a guide you won't end up with either route. Also they are really weird lore wise but they are mods so yk. I really enjoyed them because of how strange and experimental they got but I can also see them being really really frustrating for others, as well as being an absolute nightmare to navigate and nigh impossible to actually properly complete without a guide. (Also you'd need RL 1.9 from RTSL as RL 1.7 on ModDB doesn't have the second ending) Edit: 1:10:50 Hard agree. I've played like all the random HL1 GoldSrc mods and the best ones are 100% stream content and it's criminal how little reviews, let alone playthroughs of even the more popular ones exist on UA-cam. Let alone how few people stream them if they're not that one popular mod (Echoes, Entropy Zero 2 etc which are phenomenal but also are the only ones people ever recommend) Edit 2: Chat could probably direct you to RLs endings tbh, given how good they are at showing you secrets in this one
1:10:25 - Why does nobody play this? (Or make content out of this?) Well... Assuming that we're not talking about Half-Life UA-camrs: It's a Half-Life mod. You'd need someone who has actually played Half-Life sufficiently (and to know this even existed), and also have an audience that knows Half-Life well enough. Like I could sort of tell the joke of this mod is that Black Mesa seems not to care much about safety, and that things there seem to fall apart too easily... but people who aren't too familiar with Half-Life wouldn't get it-- Although you could sell this (to an audience who knows nothing about Half-Life) as a "hardest game ever" sort of thing, I suppose. Half-Life used to be really big (apparent even to someone like me who has only played the games but not much else-- though I did read a few Half-Life-based G-Mod comics as well as the Full Life Consequences videos), but by now... I think most younger people just wouldn't know it.
I did a lot of audio fuckery for HC. Moved audio around massively messed with things ect. Got about 5 months into production and then just started chopping and changing things.
I miss the old jelly stop trying to pressure them in to be like one of the main stream streamers come on guys the reason why I like them is because he’s off the charts
I understand this comment but I've *always* done this on mods I'm really sure will end up on the main channel. Like since the start. It's just rare that I know something will end up there before I even play it.
If I've ever heard of anybody being upset about the word spastic, it was easily somebody aged 30 or older. I've not once seen anybody my age or younger bothered by the word.
Just asking for a friend: which stream of jolly had a girl touching her couchie and how can i watch that stream and whats the name of that mod and any other useful information about couchies 😂
The concept of Gordon Freeman putting on the HEV suit, picking up all the guns, and then walking through a metal detector is really good.

This video is full of Jolly doing actual scientist screams
Wait, hold on, is Jolly still not aware that HP lost due to drowning regenerates, once you get air?
Jolly is not aware of many things.
