I feel like alec never actually loved jace. He was lonely and jace was the closest one to him, he thought he felt this way about jace but after he met magnus, he finally understood what love is. And for magnus, i am pretty sure he loved alec more than other 17.000.
Hijab wali he never really loved jace because in the books jace helps Alec realize it by giving him a quick kiss and Alec really hated it and felt he was kissing his real brother,
which is the episode where alecs arm gets injured ? I've seen a clip of Magnus checking to see if he's ok and he sees through a bookcase as Alec tends to his wounded arm.

I think this was confirmed in the books where Alec just had a strong brotherly love for Jace and he mistook it for romantic love until he met Magnus
