Story by the seller
It’s safe to say this is one of the most significant and valuable pieces of LIMP BIZKIT memorabilia you will ever see, so let me give you context into what it is and where I got it…
I was born and raised in Jacksonville Florida. Surfing and skateboarding meant you were probably into punk rock. I was. So, we went to shows all over Jax Beach, Arlington and Downtown Jacksonville. Venues like The Edge, Spike’s Doghouse and The Milk Bar. Sam River’s (bassist) and I had mutual friends. Sam and Fred were in a band called Malachi Sage before Limp Bizkit. (Back in 1995 they went by Limp Biscut.) As Limp Bizkit started to form and do shows me, and my friends showed up to most if not all of them. Sam Rivers and I worked together at Chick-Fil-A in Regency Square Mall in Jacksonville Florida before the band exploded. Friends attended classes with John Otto’s mother who was teacher in Arlington at the time.
As the band was being formed in 1995 they would rehearse at their (then) manager Bobby’s house. I was lucky enough to be one of very few in attendance on more than one occasion. After one of these sessions Fred had a demo cassette recording of four tracks that him, Sam and John Otto were polishing. (Armpit, Phat Shit, Shove, Stereotype). This was even before Wes Borland or DJ Lethal joined. I was given this cassette by Fred in 1995. This is the only one that I know of in existence. This is Fred’s script handwriting on the cassette. Yes, it still plays.
I graduated from Terry Parker High School in 1996. On their first studio album (Three Dollar Bill, Ya’ll) there is a track called INDIGO FLOW. At 1:33 on Indigo Flow Fred Durst thanks “Terry Parker”. This is in large part to me and my close friends making sure that everyone at our high school (Terry Parker) went to their shows. We knew something special was happening.
To say that this piece is rare is a wild understatement. This might be one of the most significant pieces of Limp Bizkit memorabilia you will ever find available ever. All of the above is verifiable if you dig deep enough and really know the history of this incredible band.
***Tracks included on the tape are: Armpit, Phat Shit, Shove, Stereotype
Bro, I just gotta say: I love the backstory!!! It goes to show that when you grow up with hometown/local bands, whether you’re friends with one or all the members, once you get that connection and you make time to attend their shows, you sense there’s some magic happening, and that certain band is about to blow up, it definitely makes it more, breathtaking and electric like you can feel it in the air, knowing you had a participation in there come up!!! Anyways, you’re the awesome reason that you got a piece of Limp Bizkit history that will be forever shared for future generations and you’re more than lucky and blessed enough to have a relic like that!!! my older sister has gotten me into Limp Bizkit ever since I was a kid and there’s not a day that goes by that I don’t listen to their songs, especially underground masterpieces like this!!! Also, I saw Limp Bizkit in concert for the first time last Friday in Bethel Woods, NY! I was completely ecstatic and so excited to finally see them and it’s definitely an experience I would love to repeat in the future!!! I’ll also say that LB is one of my main inspirations for recording RapRock/Nü Metal and I can tell, Fred has a genuine personality and charisma!!! #LongLiveLB🤘🏻🎸
Someone show this to fred again
i did it jajaja
@@andresca1985and what happen haha
These were the songs recorded at Mental Aqueduct Recording Studios in Jacksonville, Florida with John Jenkins.
I cant believe this! Finally after all this long time the full tracks have surfaced. Short samples of these songs were on the internet since the early 2000's and never heard we the full thing or even saw a tape, a source or anything. The tracks were known under the name "Mental Aquaducts" demo. Noone ever really knew if that was made up or an actual title of this demo batch. Are you planning to release Shove too? Nevertheless, thank you so so much for making this available for everyone!!!
check the description the whole thing is there to download
So fucking dope! Thx for sharing this Biscuit.
Rob Waters or Terry Balsamo playing the guitar?
Would love an album of all these from all their albums like the bootleg demos from hell

@@kenn_k I gave up on finding any LB stuff I should get back on Discord
Wow thank you so much for sharing!
Pure gold
Miss the old times limps.
Limp Bizkit is a punk band. Fred’s heavily influenced by 80s hardcore/punk and it’s very evident here. I’ve always said 3DBY is a punk album. Fred’s vocals have always been very punk like.
I would say it’s punk but even moreso Metal , 3DBY$
And hip-hop influence, there’s some groove flow and rapping vocals in some verses. Of course it would become more hip-hop/rap influenced when Lethal hopped on. 🤘🏻🎤📀
He has also said that a lot of what people may interpret as Hip Hop on that album he is coming from a place of Metal. It’s definitely Nu Metal, number one!!!
