I am more amazed that they keep conducting these interviews and news reports in English. Then again, I understand that English is used to translate between different ethnic groups who speak different languages that make up India. Now India just needs to develop their own aircraft like the Tejas.
India already has the Naval Tejas. However, since this is a STOBAR carrier, the Indian Navy prefers a Twin Engine fighter for maximum payload performance. But other than payload...Tejas is more advanced in terms of Flight controls, Radar,Avionics, Stealth, etc etc. So its being said there is a strong chance that the Indian Navy would order around 18 Naval Tejas.
Kudos India!! Great Team Work!! This beauty is an example of what Indians are capable of and what Indian industry is capable of. Next we have to aim to make an Aircraft Carrier with unlimited endurance... I hope everyone understands what I mean...
@@sachinreddybappa1273 need at least 2 to be deployed in South China Sea, two for the arabian sea I.e eastern front to keep an eye on pak and keep the two carriers on a regular circulation like the USA does to it's carrier fleet but on a smaller scale and similar deployment in the bay of bengal for managing western sea board Note: This is my suggestion just on carrier as a general class rather than the type of carrier. And I know we will need more air craft to fill them up as well. Cz the money is an investment in this case as we are making it on our own. So we are actually investing resources to build a stronger economy. This is how things move. How do u think US keeps making all those super carriers one after another. Cz they are rich? No. It's becz they invested a shit ton of money when they were a growing power and made a billion dollar industry out of their own technology that they developed. This is what capitalisation is. Heartiest Congratulations to Indian Armed Forces and all the technical team, engineers and scientists associated with this humongous and the most complicated project for their great achievement. I have following views- A country like India needs "at least" 4 aircraft carriers at any given time and that is a must requirement. One for Arabic Sea, One for Bay of Bengal, one for Indian Ocean thus 3 actively stationed at all times with considering the 4th one which could be rotated in the case of maintenance, refueling etc. Hence, it is also important to procure nuclear super aircraft carrier which will diminish the requirement for the ship to return to base for fuel as once activated nuclear fuel can last for 20 years without replenishment. Then the only time the ship needs to return would be to get food supply. Also, the current INS Vikrant (even though enormous) is quite smaller in comparison to USA's Nimitz class or Ford class ships which are ginormous nuclear super carriers and are 3 times larger in every capacity. They carry 90+ fighter aircrafts along with a crew of 5000+ sailors on a single ship. USA operates total 12 such carriers. Please do not forget, out of 5 oceans in the world the only one named after a country is ours: 'Indian Ocean'. If India does not maintain a navy strong enough to protect our waters then who else will. Please do not forget, one of the most important factor played in the victory of Britishers as they conquered India and many other nations in the world about 200 years ago is their competent navy which they built and developed more than 400 years ago. In conclusion: India needs minimum of 4 Nuclear Super Aircraft Carriers (all 100% manufactured in India) at any given time and we shall have it soon in the near future. Jai Hind !
