What an awesome song in an awesome soundtrack. First time I heard it was her singing it live at the Asha/RDB concert in Mumbai in Shanmukhananda Hall. I was completely entranced by Asha's voice. Now, I find the dialogs in the middle kinda annoying, but at that time, I loved everything about the song. Pancham's open-throated singing is fantastic. I did not watch the film till many years later, and loved Aruna Irani on who it is picturized. So a love affair all around 🙂
