This was a nice explanation of your thoughts moving forward. Having resets when life sends you into a new chaos is important when budgeting. Having five children makes it so hard. I know you are trying to give them a great childhood. I can't wait to see what happens with your plans as this series continues. I am debt free, the journey wasn't pleasant but it feels amazing as each debt is paid off. Until the last few months my spouse was not happy that we stayed on the tight budget to increase our liquid assets. Now that there are 5-7 medium-to-major surgeries needed, he's glad we did. My current goal is to have six months of net income easily available.
I really hopw the your health abd family's health is ok. That's alot of surgeries. Health is the most important. I'm so happy for you that you are debt free.
