    Another great video Sam. When the time comes - and with your permission - I will contact you so as to learn what to do to travel to that part of the world and experience Africa. I would say within the next 5 years I will make my way there. I read in one of your comments you offered to assist someone if they needed it and I hope I'm not being presumptuous. Keep the videos coming.

      Hi Peter, thank you for your kind words and yes, when the time comes, please let me know and I will gladly assist with getting you over there. It's an incredible continent with so much to se and do. Thank you again for your comment and hope you enjoy the content. I have a blog www.samhankssphotography.wordpress.com which is updated more regularly with stories which you may find interesting.

    Hello Sam,
    Just stumbled upon your video. Firstly, wonderful footage and what a humbling privilege to be in the presence of these magnificent creatures. I particularly liked your POV perspective of the experience and the fact that there is no music appended to the video. Only the sounds of the wild.
    I am planning to visit Amboseli in October to hopefully capture that iconic image of a super tusker with Killi in the background. Granted this is an event that can’t be guaranteed and I’d be at the mercy of nature. However one can plan and hope.
    This being said would you be kind enough to share some pointers or contacts who might be helpful with executing this plan?
    Thanks & regards,
    Sherome Fonseka

      @@sheromefonseka1852 Hi Sherome,
      Thank you so much for your kind words, I'm glad you liked the video. It really is a privilege to have witnessed what i did there. Thankfully I've been back since and had some more incredible encounters!
      Certainly, my work is to organise trips like these for guests and I know the best guide and place to stay to get "that shot". Please feel free to email me at sam@africaodyssey and we can chat directly by email.
      Have a lovely day!

    That is so cool to be that close to the elephants. Doesn't look like much for them to eat. What do they eat?

    • @samhankss
      @samhankss  2 роки тому +1

      Thank you Sandra. They eat most vegetation. As it was the end of the dry season, sources were limited, however there are forested and swamp areas that provide a good bulk of their food during the drier months.

    Hello Sam, Sorry I am not a English speaking person so sorry if my question is not very clear , frist ...Super pics I must say I love you B-W versions .I will be in Amboseli in 10 days and I was wondering how they allowed you to get out the jeep , I have been there before and there was no way the driver let me out what was very frustatin . Did you had to be giving permission by the park authorities or where You just lucky with you driver ?
    Luc ,
    Ps; I am using my wife account

      Hi Luc, thank you so much for your kind words. We were in a private concession, which adjoins the park, so not in the National Park itself where you are not allowed to alight from the vehicle. I worked with an amazing guide which of course makes things much easier. , but if you are not in the vehicles that are allowed into the concessions, then you are unlikely to be able to get out of the car. I stayed at Tortilis Camp which has its own private areas. Hope this helps.
