Learned this for a church service in the same week, would be helpful to have a bit of tabiture rather than just going by ears and eyes but it’s doable without it

Hey Peter! Lucky for everyone my parents taught me Russian! :)
I use a Dunlop orange pick which is .60mm, I think that's considered a medium, although sometimes a hard pick would be nice for when you want it to sound even more aggressive.
