Excerpted from Pink Martini's September 3, 2011 concert at Chateau Ste. Michelle, near Seattle, Washington. "Brasil" is the classic Pink Martini concert encore; the song, written by Ary Barroso in 1939, has closed nearly every concert the band has ever performed, and fans of the band know that its opening notes are the cue to start a conga line through the concert hall or arena. Pink Martini's studio version of the song first appeared on the band's debut album "Sympathique."
