Starring Talya Çelebi and Cenay Türksever, "Gelin" is the life story of two people from entirely different worlds: Hançer, who gives up her dreams for her loved ones on the one hand, and Cihan, who has fire in his eyes on the other.
Hançer, who gets her name from her sharp gaze, faces an offer that will turn her life upside down. Taking advantage of the fact that Hançer is poor and has a family that will not cause trouble, Mukadder offers her to marry her son and give birth to a son. Hançer, who dreams of finding the love of her life and having a happy marriage, first rejects this offer, but when she learns that her brother has a fatal illness, she is forced to accept the offer.

The problem is Hancer. She is stupid enough to listen to Bezad . She should see right in front of her eye how much her husband care for her and her brother. The writer do a very lousy job with this story . But it can be understood that it a low budget series and getting a low rating

OK. I have to say something to those of you putting Hancer down because she is so upset about Cemil and crying. IF you've been watching from the beginning, you should remember that Hancer and Cemil's anne left them all alone when they were children. Hancer was very young and Cemil was her only relative and he raised her. They are extremely close because of this, so Cemil is a VERY IMPORTANT person in her life! Cihan does not resent her love for Cemil. As a matter of fact, when he found out the money she asked for to marry him was for Cemil, it impressed Cihan that she would go to that length to save her brother! He, as someone who lost his only brother whom he loved so much, understands Hancer. As he began to fall in love with her, even though it was when they were not getting along, he began to try and find a doctor who could help Cemil after Derya told him about Cemil's illness. Hancer asked him at the cabin why he was helping since he found out from Derya but he didn't have a chance to answer because Usta called and told him to bring Hancer back to Cemil's immediately. BUT he did it because he was in love with her! I'm sure if any one of those saying she's being too whiny and crying too much was in her situation in real life, they'd be crying too. So just chill out. Things are going to get better and she will be happy with Cihan. At least for a while until Mukadder and/or Beyza make a move to break them apart! And we know that's coming!!!

Such an evil cruel grandmother, mother-in-law and mother for that fact. Doesn’t want her son’s happiness just a grandson. Keeps her daughter-in-law as a prisoner by threatening to take her granddaughter away from her if she leaves the house. The only one she really cares about is her ex-daughter-in-law who aborted her second granddaughter and now cannot have another child.
