Your kitchen looks great! Maybe you could try a black tension rod between the cabinets above your stove? Just hang the hooks from that. Same basic look but still easily removed when you want a change.
Love the wood accents (range hood, dough bowl, Hearth & Home tray & pedestal) and the touch of greenery, lemons and lavender. The new hardware looks awesome!
I love all the pops of wood sprinkled about. It’s adds so much warmth. Those Velcro command strips have never worked for me. I just buy command hooks that’s for the amount of weight I’m looking to hold up and use the sticky out of the pack not the hook.
Jessica, love the new drawer pulls. I have very old wood ones that I would like to replace at some point. Single hole. Had some that didn’t work... so trying again. I clean houses and one of my customers had same issue with the iron bar/rail on back of stove. If you aren’t hanging up anything super heavy... spray paint a tension rod black. We still used iron hooks...We did this as a temporary thing and it has been hanging for 3 years. She just hangs unique wood pieces( spoons, butter paddles, small cheese board) on hers and switches items out for holidays. Spray paint rod when extended more than you need. That was our only mistake at first. I am sure you will figure something out. Love your dough bowl. Lavender, lemons and eucalyptus are my favorite smells. Look beautiful together!!
Felicidades le quedó hermoso como todo lo que usted hace se ve muy bonita su decoración gracias por compartirlo un abrazo desde San Cristóbal en Chiapas México
Maybe you could put two commander hooks up. One on each side that would hold around 30 lbs. Then when you hang your items try putting something tall to cover the hooks. You could even spray the command hooks black. Just a little suggestion. Everything looks amazing! I would turn the dough bowl at an angle so it's not squared up on your island. I have those same knobs and I love them! You look fantastic Jessica! ❤️
I like your rug plus that size you'll be able to throw it in the washer. That's something I always consider with area rugs the smaller ones are easy to clean especially being by the sink. Love the new pulls.
It looks cute, all of the woods are in all angles of the room, and they all match your hood perfectly. The new handles look great as a nice change. Smells of Lavender, lemon and eucalyptus is prob my favorite scents , and you have them as one😍. Plz stay safe and God bless 🙏💗
Jessica, the new cabinet hardware looks *GREAT*. I'm a huge fan of all the warm wood tones. In regards to your hanging rack, I always clean the surfaces with rubbing alcohol before applying Command strips, also, give it time to bond (24 hours). The rail is super cute and functional.
Love the dried floral and lemons it looks so pretty. I watched someone get the fancier looking command hooks then a copper pipe and added hooks to it above her stove it turned out cute.
I love the new hardware, it really makes the cabinets look custom! The dough bowl looks great an the island and l LOVE the veggie poster . The pictures are so vintage looking and the colors so soft . 💗
Your bedroom is jaw dropping beautiful !!! I can decorate really nice but I wish I could decorate like you do. Wonderful job. You can be proud. Look forward to your next one. Thank you for sharing 🤗
The eggs in the basket is so cute..its always been in my head to put them in fridge but not necessary I know...saving this video to copy some great kitchen decor..so loving how you did your dough bowl so adorable
I really enjoy the video. This is my first time watching your channel. Loved the organization of your fridge. My best takeaway tip is the ice cubes. Will be doing this today. Thank You for sharing everything.
Maybe a Peg rail on top of your stove will work better since it has more of a surface to put several command strips for added strength? Anyways love how it all turned out! ❤️
Jessica, I agreed with Cass 👍🏻 Check Maranda from Maranda Christine (her Amazon store) she got one from Amazon, perfect for your space, it also comes in 3 colors and you can hang it with commands Velcro strips.
I love your kitchen, simple and elegant. I have always a lemon in my kitchen, great for recipe, and it's very healthy ,just half a slice of lemon with one glass of water it helps to lower your cholesterol level, normalized your blood pressure and loose weight too.
I love your ideas. I do have a suggestion--instead of using that adhesive tape on your rug--with you are going to have to pull up to wash each week. They make a rug tape for just this purpose! I have rug tape under my cotton rugs. I have a memory foam runner and mats at my sink and stove, but I don't like how it looks. Covering them with my cotton rugs does the trick for me!
I think what would work really well for above your stove would be to use a tension rod between the two cabinets! It will be able to hold stuff up and can still be easily removed!!
Love the new refresh, Jessica! I’m sure you will find something to hold up the rail. Personally, I’m just not a fan of command strips. They have peeled off my wall paint. The small plastic hooks have worked for garlands, etc. but it is finicky. Have you ever used Decor Steals? They have daily deals and shipping on anything is only $5. I have bought several unique items and never have been disappointed. One item was a dough bowl ... very reasonably priced (I want to say less than $50) and it is beautiful and sturdy. I’ve used it for probably 5 years. You will definitely have fun decorating that dough bowl seasonally! I’ve used lavender and eucalyptus too for Summer. Mine is in my living area and I love it! I have another antique one that is huge....around 4 1/2 feet long....that I bought off of Etsy! Miles could lay down in that one! 😂
Love the hardware and Jessica there is a two sides tape by Nano gel grip tape it literally will hold bricks up and won't ruin your tile and will remove easily and I've been using it for about two years.I bought it off of Amazon
Love the dough bowl arrangement so much! The pulls add alot as well. That hanging bar woulda looked so nice. That kinda thing happens to me all the time, I have what I think is a perfect solution & it ends up not working. Putting something so perment is so scary, then you are stuck with it forever. Those of us who like to change things often don't like putting scars on the walls permently.. you will figure it out sooner or later, I'm sure if that. You have such good ideas in decor!
Hi Jessica! I am loving your lantern pendant light above your island! Not sure if those came with your house or if you purchased them. If they are something you purchased, can you share where they came from? Thanks a bunch, love watching your channel!
Looks beautiful, I don't have alot of luck with the command strips either. You have me hooked on the white Rae Dunn.Found another piece at my Marshalls yesterday 😊
Jessica I love what you have done with your kitchen! It turned out beautiful! Thanks for the scotch mounting tape suggestion because my kitchen rug keeps sliding even after using one of the Dollartree grippers to go under it! I have a suggestion you may want to consider for behind your stove for hanging your utensils/etc. Try a small black iron tension curtain rod & you could place it as far back as your cabinet sides allow. Then use the black iron S-hooks to hang the utensils. It would be so easy to remove when you change it up to hang pictures or other decor with no damage to your backsplash! I hope this helps!! Keep on sharing! I’m subscribed & love watching your ideas!! 😍
I love your kitchen refresh! The lavender & lemons look beautiful in your new dough bowl. I'm actually going with a lemon/herb theme for spring. Thanks for the ideas! :-)
Looks great Jessica! Try going onto the Sincerely, Marie Designs blog. She shows how she hung copper pots above her stove using a tension rod and S hooks. I have yet to try it myself but supposedly it works and it looks nice because the rod is kinda hidden up under the hood a bit. Hope this helps!
Love everything you do. Your kitchen looks so fresh and clean. I just got my scale yesterday 💗 I love the lavender/ lemon idea. Thank you for sharing all your wonderful ideas 💗
You have such a Pinterest-worthy home, I’ve got so much inspo from you and I only discovered you this year! I love your egg basket, where could I find it/something similar? Love your refresh x
So your command strips for the hanger thing behind your stove. You can't use the Velcro ones. I use the sticky stuff for the "HUGE hook" on backpacks. I think it is called the utility hook. Instead of using the "HOOK" just use the sticky stuff. It will hold a 7 lb, if not more backpack.
@@JessicaGiffin did you attach it to the wall and let cure for an hour? It looked like it was stuck to the rod first. 🤷🏻♀️ I didn't know these had to cure and tried hanging garland above my bed and it wouldn't work... I later found out it had to cure 🙄🤣 so I can imagine the frustration 🤦🏻♀️

I am a little late to your party and maybe you have solved the over the stove thing with the hanging hook rack. My thought was a tension curtain rod and use the hooks on that. Use the cabinet sides, or even get like those cups they use for wooden closet rods and just sit the rack in that. Just my 2 cents.
Oh I hear you about those command sticks I even got the doubles thick tape it cost 20 bucks for like two or three rolls you would think that it would work so good yeah it just put big holes in my walls and it peeled off the paint and everything so yeah they don't make that stuff like they say they do..

Hi Jessica. I love the new drawer pulls. You may like to look at tension curtain or shower curtain rods for over your stove with your IKEA hooks.
That’s a great idea!
Great idea! Thank you :)
