I am an actor and content creator with Hollywood credits including roles on Lucifer (Netflix), Starlight Christmas (Hallmark), JT Leroy (Universal Studios), etc. In this channel, I offer insight to Kpop performances using my 10+ years of training in dance, acting, singing and overall performance. In dance, my forte are contemporary and musicals and have done most of my performances in theatre. Although my channel is mostly known for dance analysis, I am currently inactive in the dance community.

What stands out to me the most, is the contrast between their age and the concept they've adopted. None of them is above twenty years old and still they manage somehow not to look boyish when they perform. Groups like Enhypen set the bar really high for future groups and our expectations for them as well.
I was thinking like they are around 16 years (international) but need to portray wild party with drinking and getting 'drunk'

they are a very new group . you should get into them . they have very nice concept and their dances is very good . you can watch ilan because that in where the group was formed . if you want to

Formed through the 2020 survival competition show I-Land, the group is composed of 7 members: Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Jungwon, and Ni-ki. They just made a comeback the past 26th w their 2nd mini album Border: Carnival, which is really good, if you liked the title track song i'm pretty sure you're gonna like all the b-sides 🤩 check it out, you won't regret it.

I love Sunghoon's solo dance (dance in blood rain). Especially the spinning move.... beautiful...
He was figure skating athlete, he has ballet dance as basic skill. Contemporary dance is Sunghoon's speciality.
My only complaint is that I wish there were more cuts of his dance in the blood rain!!!! Maybe we'll get to see more in the behind the scenes...

4:51 the guy at the center, his name in sunghoon, he is the one who is also doing the turns on the bloody rain, he was a figure skater before, and he also did ballet/contemporary dance

I think the girl or the princess that was invited to the party is controlling them and the first one she decide to control is Sunoo .It's sunoo's job to turn people into vampires like an army and he turned everyone in enhypen.He gave Jake the job In given taken to turn Jungwon into a vampire. Jungwon was the last one to turn. I think some of them have special powers. K & E J are werewolves and are trying to protect Humanity. They are trying to capture sunoo to get information and trying to stop him.

I also think that something is up with Sunghoon...its not clear right now but I feel as the story progresses, well be able to tell. But I'm sure he also has a huge role to play.

The one that dancing in blood rain is Sunghoon. He was a national figure skater for 10 years and did a ballet too
one of the best things about enhypen tbh is that they always do the unexpected and they don't stick to the "traditional" model
Some of groups : give them a whole visual and cinematography
Bighit (belift part of bighit) : just give them a whole story line, like a movie and good music, whole world already know they r handsome so we dont need to just guve them visual zoom in zoom out.

yes I agree. theirs is unique and it’s incredible how a rookie group can literally dance this well. even besides the fact that they’re rookies, they all are beyond exceptional
Wow. I've been thinking why this song seems different but ended up with the idea that the sound itself is different. But now you opened my eyes that this song just don't have the typical 'kpop song' structure lol
i mean its still the verse-pre-chorus-verse-pre-chorus at first. but at the end the structure is similar to feel special actually!
Yeah usually kpop songs have rap/breakdown verse going on but i've noticed hybe is slowly pulling away from that
the biggest thing that stood out to me was how it resembled older more "out-there" music in kpop, like bigbang, 2ne1, block b, etc. the song structure is also different too.

I freaked out when I heard the chorus. I paused, zoned out for 2 mins, then went into the room next to mine and then started rolling on the bed while whisper-screaming with squealing, then came back and acted like nothing happened. ITS ONLY BEEN TWO DAYS SINCE IT CAME OUT, AND I’M ALREADY OBSESSED.

i absolutely loooove their concept it's so entertaining and i can't wait for their future MVs to see where it goes. I'm also really excited for the japanese group's debut as we've seen K and E.J (also I-Land contestants) in this MV and it seems like their concept will be werewolves. I just love this werewolf/vampire dynamic so much!
This has never happened to me before but I like the dancing in the MV, with that camerawork, BETTER than the Studio Choom version. I just think for once the camerawork telling the story enhanced the choreo. Lumpens is a genius.

@@yumi3078 No, that is not the first thing I noticed. In fact, that was the last thing I noticed. I’ve already commented on many other videos about their hard work. I just saw that Jeff didn’t notice and just wanted to point it out. I already know that Jeff knows about their hard work and dedication :)
I had no idea who they were. Had heard the name but wasn't really interested in checking them out as they are so young and I listen to "more than enoch" groups already. But I love to watch the relay dances on M2. So watched theirs, and the dance looked so interesting! And had to see the whole dance and was BLOWN AWAY! The moves! The execution! The energy! The expressions! Definitely one of my favorite dances from this year.

Sunghoon did his job again, spin and spin 😂(he's professional figure skater before debut if you don't know 🤗) listen for several times and found out that Drunk-dazed is a great song and the performance is amazing.
I don’t stan them because their music isn’t my style but THIS specific song just hits my spot and I love love love love it.
also we cant forget that the werewolf guys in the beginning are EJ and K (i believe that’s their names) two contestants of I Land who got eliminated !!

That's true, this song is unique and different. When BigHit produce music, they make sure that every group is different from one another so that all of them will stand out on their own. I love that this isn't the typical kpop song because they added lots of stuffs in the song like that unique sound in the chorus that you pointed out. It reminds me of Vitas.

Did you notice how the album is kind of like a carnival they were talking about? a when sunghoon was in the room where the blood was there playing creepy carnival music.Also sunoo lines were talking about a carnival.
