- Hey friends,
Today I am FINALLY sharing what my kids eat in a day. You guys have asked so many times for this video so I figured I'd share. I try to feed my kids a healthy well rounded diet, but we do not follow a strict dietary plan for them. Hope this gives you some easy ideas for your kids.

Loved this video! Thanks! I definitely would love to see more.😊
More please!! I love these videos, they help me with ideas & change up our normal meals!
Thank you for the video, yes more of these please. I run out of ideas
Would love to see more of these videos! 😊
Love all of your what I eat videos! Keep em coming!
I love these kinds of videos! I feel like there are a lot of people sharing videos for their small kids but not kids with big appetites. My son eats fairly healthy but has a HUGE appetite so it is nice to see some more filling ideas!
Lindsay Whitcomb my kids EAT! So I understand this!
Thanks for the video. I've been binge watching your channel... I've missed so much. One of my goals for this year is to provide my kids with healthier eating habits. Thanks for reminding me it doesn't have to be complicated. :)
I use the same multivitamin for my kiddos. 😊 Love getting fresh ideas. Thanks!
Thank you, another great video. I really overthink my kids’ meals and snacks🤪 Thank you for showing us that nutritious food doesn’t have to be difficult. We only drink water too!
Love your piggy picture in the kitchen. He’s cute❤️
Would LOVE more before/after sports snacks. My son is always SO hungry after soccer.
A Beautiful Life yes my kids too!
I loved this and definitely would love to see more ideas :)
Hello 👋🏻 on another video, you mentioned MyFitnessPal. I have been using it and love it. I have a question though - when you cook in a crockpot (or really do any other recipe that’s not already logged in the app), how do you track calories/macros? For example, if I make a side dish recipe that I get from online, how do I know what the calorie count is?
I enjoy both these and the family dinner ones you have done. Keep up the good work!
I loved this. I would love to see more.
Yes, would love to see more 😊
Do your kiddos ever ask for dessert?? And if you do dessert what would you recommend ? And I really do like these videos cause I am really trying to move into healthier and healthier choices for my kids and me. I have always cooked at home but desserts have definitely played a part in our daily lives at least for dinner so,... love the suggestions.
Carmen swanson they don’t ask because it’s not ever something we have. I’d offer fruit instead:)
Maybe try doing a fruit crisp or cobbler then try reducing sugar/ topping until it mostly fruit.
We do the water bottles at home too. So much easier than cleaning up a million water cups haha. And no spills, if tops are closed 😉
Thanks for sharing!
I would watch as many of these as you are willing to film 😊 We have tried the water bottle thing too and I have 1 child who constantly loses hers (where?? I don't know!! Are they buried in the back yard? Get thrown away? They kind of just disappear) which is frustrating! It is a great system though.
Love this! Thanks for sharing!
Great trips! Love the plates. One of my kids has food allergies, so they eat differently. But for morning they like cereal and then toast with honey or crepes filled with jam. Have you tried the blueberry ones from Belvita?
Hi , you mentioned no eating after dinner but what time do you have dinner, I appreciate this video very much thank you.
We have 6, and I needed this. I’m n a kid food rut. We can’t have diary. And I have some picky eaters.
Love these videos!
TFS would love to see more ideas!!!!
Yes I love these
I’ve got teenage boys and I think they eat 10x that amount of food! Between puberty and football,, they are always eating!
Did any of your kids go through picky eating stage? My 5 year old is currently in it and it's actually in feeding therapy for sensory issues. Just curious if all your kids were good eaters
Why no milk? No criticism, just curious.
Love your menu! How different was it when your kids were very young? All of mine are under 5.
Definitely more of these! I can always use ideas.
BustlingHome mostly the same! Just smaller portions! About the milk: so there’s actually a couple reasons.. the first one is I wasn’t raised on drinking milk as a beverage so it’s not something I did. The second reason is my kids don’t like it. The third is that there have been countless studies that have linked childhood obesity being directly correlated with those who drink milk. Last there are so many better and more calcium rich foods besides milk:)
Such a yummy day!
My 2 and 4 year old refuse good dinners like that. It’s a struggle to get them to eat what we eat at times. We have tried telling them they get nothing else, and they gladly choose to starve. But by bedtime I can’t let them go without something so I give in to a piece of fruit. They would like cereal or oatmeal instead of dinner with meat and veggies. How do I go about encouraging them to try healthy meals when they are so picky. My 7 year old eats awesome. I’m hoping the pickiness is a faze.
There is an Insta account called Kids Eat in Color. Highly recommend following her suggestions.
I went through that and just kept offering foods and making them try them. I always included 1 thing I knew they’d eat though so that they didn’t go hungry.
So how do you GET your kids to eat the healthier options? I have picky eaters who will go hungry for a week rather than eat vegetables. :/
I kept offering it! and wouldn't make anything different
What kind of water bottle was your son using? I’m looking for a good one that keeps water cold!
That's a ThermoFlask. 🙂
I get the off amazon or at Costco! I have some linked on my store
Gosh I wish I could my middle daughter to eat like this! She won’t even look at a fruit or vegetable 🤦🏽♀️
Same with my son (3rd born of 7)!
Have your kids always liked salad? I have two small ones and they won’t go near one haha
