That's one of the better made ADF videos in a while!
Need more of this. Get the next generation interested in a defence career.
These are exactly the types of videos that need to be produced. Informative, interesting, and influencing. Well done!
Yes!! Absolutely agree 👍🏽
Fantastic! ADF needs to make more of these deep-dive videos.
I see what you did there...
@@mikelastname heheh
We need a behind the scenes of an ANZAC Class Frigate! It’s been so long since Defence made any content for those ships and I’d love to see some.
The Hobart class are probably too confidential, but seeing an ANZAC class would be awesome.
@@IC3XRthere’s nothing too confidential. Just about Everything about them can be found online….these videos are about recruiting. Not about anything else.
As an ex Collins bug myself - this was quite the trip down memory lane!
Thanks to all who made/participated in the video-that’s the best and most relevant recruiting video I’ve seen in a long time
Keep up the great work !!!!!
Craig? Hello old mate! We talked about joining the army togeather when we were in high school. My life unfortunately has taken a different path. I'm glad you made it though :) I would of loved to have served.
Australia is the best ❤❤
This was fascinating to watch. RAN, please keep showing more of these of daily life for navy crews.
Superb production. This is perfect to describe what the job entails for those who are interested in this area of military operations. Well done RAN.
We need to get these guys newer subs these aren't the worst but we need to get this rolling.
Thank you to all sub and production crew. Very well presented and informative video.
I look at these professional submariners, their abilities and dedication, then I look at our useless politicians and shake my head in dismay.
Would love to see a detailed vid of what armourers get up to, especially across the different services.
More of these long in depth videos over every branch would be so good! Maybe some Army next 👀
Definitely check out Behind the Scenes videos on the Army UA-cam channel!! Same type. More to come for sure!!
Seen the ones on the Army Channel!! Same host!! So good
Ok 👍
“Your neck issues are not service related” hahah but awesome video love the longer form.
We never got food that good in the 60s & 70s in the RAN.
What did you get?? Out of a can or cooked fresh??
The food looks good, many would join to avoid going to Woolies.
Currently alongside at HMAS Stirling
It’s challenging filming on a Sub, but was an amazing experience that’s for sure!!
I can imagine it would be tough!! I can see you had to blur things out too… sure there is lots of secret stuff we can’t see as well!
How good!!! Great to see your workspace Ethan and team Dechaineaux 🙏🏽🙌🏽
Keen to see a video of one of our DDG's :)
Hopefully when we get our AUKUS subs we will get a video there also, but I reckon that will be unlikely, given the amount of classified equipment onboard.
My brother was in the RAN in the 90s, all his mates use to lob and party out at our home, mum and dad use to hire swags, get pigs on spits, hire juke box's, went all out to make the boys feel at home. Anyone remember Jason, got killed in Singapore, those days.
Should do patrol boats next!
What patrol boats. Half the fleets decommissioned 😂
Well done, very informative
These hosted Behind the Scenes videos by this guy Dave are outstanding!! I have seen the ones on the Army Channels and so glad to see they are now going bigger!! More longer and different style videos like this please 🙏🏽 keep up the great work.
AKA ADF recruiting in overdrive 😂
Months on end in that, couldn't do it. Hats off to those that do.
Thankyou for your service!
The Collins are very underrated, Crewing new subs is going to be a challenge with the upcoming fleet increase. Wish i was 30 years younger, sign me up
Great video real insightful!
That was Jono from Travel Guides !
Great content more pleases👍👍👍
I’d like to see you do a deep dive on clearance divers😎
Nice Pun 😂
What do you want to know about them? They swim, drink coffee, work out and do that all over again. Nothing more than that.
Different then my time 1967 on the USA GUPPY type sub
An in depth video on a "LAND BASED SUBMARINE" would be pretty cool 😊😊😊
Like living on a plane. The nuke subs should be more livable?
Could we see a video of Behind the Scenes of Navy Aviation please?
A bit different from an O-Boat WT Office at 10:40. Showers at 13:19..? 😂😂
Does this one use the pump jet or what?
great video Navy, the people seemed real. too bad I'm not gay otherwise i would join.
How do you go at sea ? I mean she just likes the seaman. Old sailers joke
Sorry, still not going to sign up.
Yay. Non woke informative video. Defence may finally be getting it.
The ADF has made it abundantly clear that recruiting , promotion and internal job opportunities are based on considerations of identity politics and bigotry. Until the ADF apologises and goes back to a merit based system they will struggle with recruiting and public confidence.
No sane person will sign up for an organisation where their life is on the line in harsh conditions when that organisation displays open hatred and contempt for the majority of potential recruits because of race , gender and sexual orientation. Why try and make a career in an organisation that hates you and will discriminate against you because of the body you were born in. Especially when that organisation displays their bigotry as a badge of honour.

Oh yeah? Well that's just like your opinion man.
Don’t join you’ll regret it.
