- Here's a review of the AnkerMake M5C, which is significantly cheaper than its older brother, the M5. Is it still true plug-and-play?

This is definitely just what I need for my room decorations! the M5C precision mode is pretty impressive
Wow, that precision 0.16 looks nice, and faster than I would have expected. Those prints are amazing, and the masks look lovely. I would love to see those in wood filament.
I wish more companies would focus on silent printers, I have my Prusa in a case and it is still louder than I would like it. If I lived in a house that would be alright but I live in an apartment.
I don't have a prusa but what is loud about it? If it is the fans, many new printers, one I am looking into, are louder now for increased cooling but should have shutoffs. Is it the motherboard beeping with every change? There are newer silent boards you can replace or many new machines have "silent" motherboards. Or is it the "grinding" noise? There are dampeners you can print or rubber tiles in a hardware store that help.
Just a random person trying to help.
The precision mode looks interesting. It looks like good machine with great price.
Impressive :) Thanks for the video.
See a good amount of ringing. How loud is it compared to other printers?
It's quieter than the M5, which is about the loudest printer I have. It's still louder than my Prusas though because of the cooling fan. But unlike the M5, the cooling fan on the M5C turns off when not printing.
@@gaminggeek241 Thanks for replying. Fan turning off when idle will be a consideration whether to buy or not.
Looking to get into 3d printing for miniatures mostly. Would this or the elegy mars 3 be best for minis?
Elegoo not elegy
For miniatures, I would definitely go with a resin printer so the Elegoo is fine. Personally, I would pick the Anycubic over the Elegoo but you won't lose with either.
@@gaminggeek241 I was going with the mars 3 pro because it’s on sale for $199 right now which seems like a great price.
Where did you get the stl for that mask?
It's in the AnkerMake app where there are about a dozen sample files. All of my prints in the video are from the app.
@gaminggeek241 thanks mate!
Not even a month and had to return because it died on me!
