I was born in Nashville and I think I never really appreciated how much it had to offer until I see videos like this. I moved away when I was 32 to Florida to enjoy a different climate. I love living near the ocean.
Isn`t it nice to see a vlogger NOT put their melon in every shot....with all the fame hungry vloggers out there, simply showing the sites is very refreshing....way to go Robert !
Thanks for the Tour! Was there as a younger Teen, in the early 90’s. Looks completely different than I remember, gonna have to visit as an adult at some point.
I just recently found your channel and I absolutely love it. You are right, there is so much more to see and do here in Nashville. I live in a suburb called Murfreesboro. I hope to see you up this way again someday.
Your channel should be called following in Travelling Roberts footsteps, because after watching your videos you're led with an overwhelming feeling of wanting to experience what you have shown the viewers. As ever, always informative and well documented. The quality in all areas stands out. Thanks for all the work you put into the channel, it's one of the best on the Tube. Hopefully your subscribers will grow channel.
I'm from Vietnam and I begin learning English language, I very happy when you had shared those videos on UA-cam, I wish I could watch more own, thanks so much
Love your videos, started watching them cause I plan on doing my first RV trip from NY to Texas and as I watch them I'm getting all hyped about my trip. Thanks for posting
Thanx, I was born in Trenton, Ga. 30752...I must say, you did a really good job. Trenton is 20 miles south of Chattanooga. Again, thanx for a real nice Memorial Day gift. Carry on
Thank you! Glad you liked it. We really liked that area and want to go back with more time to really explore. Northern Georgia, Tennessee and Kentucky are some of my favorite parts.
So glad to see another video up! We just moved to plantation Florida and have been following your videos since I loved in Dallas! The first concert I saw was in Nashville and the Ryman auditorium had the best acoustics in the US. At the time I didn't know how special Ryman was until I heard the concert. Great video rob! Brought me down memory lane!
We stayed at the KOA on Music valley Dr. for 4 nights this July it was really nice, new pool, tons of stuff for the kids to do grounds were clean, we I had a premium RV spot I would stay here again for sure
+Jello Glue Yes it was very nice although we didn't take advantage of the amenities this time. We practically just went there to sleep. We'll return some time.
Looking forward to Kentucky. I had hoped that Nashville has more to offer as I have an underage daughter so the bars are out for us. Being foodies and lovers of music I'm sure there is more to explore..
+Guy Mooglie Oh yeah, there is definitely a lot to explore. We barely scratched the surface. Since I knew we didn't have much time here I just did the obviously touristy stuff just to get a feel for the city. In fact originally Nashville wasn't even on the map. I was just thinking of parking somewhere for a couple of hours and walk around. When I did some research I decided to stay for 24 hours.
+Bigdog Bulldog Ha, you're welcome. Glad you enjoyed. Kentucky hopefully will be a little longer and Chicago too. The final video will probably be about 2 hours but at this rate it will be a couple of months before that.
You were camping right next to Opryland Hotel, which is great for a tour as well. Seems weird to tour a hotel, but this one's different. Especially if you can see it during Christmas. Love your videos!
Ok, I'm stumped. How did you capture the map on that scale and still keep it sharp? I can screen capture the map area and use motion to move the camera along the path but in order to cover that large of area, the image is pixelated when zoomed in that far. Any help would be great.
We were in Nashville in 2014 and we absolutely loved it too! We're heading back there in September and your video has helped raise the anticipation levels!
The next time you are in Nashville, consider visiting the Gaylord Opryland Hotel. You do not have to stay there to enjoy all that the hotel has to offer. Also, there is a riverboat cruise that includes a good meal and entertainment. Good video!
I really enjoyed Robert. Considering your so much into music. I surprised you didn't plan to stay a little longer.. I really like the history of Nashville,i must go back again.
In my original plan I was just going to park for a few hours. I wanted to get to Kentucky and Chicago sooner. Then I realized the city had so much to offer that I squeezed in a whole day there. But, yeah, I can't wait to go back and stay a couple of days at least.I didn't know I was going to like it so much.
+Drivin' and Vibin' I do, especially if I am going to only one place and don't feel like driving or expect to be drinking. If I think I'm going to be going many different or far away places then I drive.
I'm really digging the country style music! Never knew Nashville was so wild downtown. Wonderful video Robert. Your the best!! :) So happy you had a great time in Nashville!! On to Louisville! WooHoo!
Another Great Video Robert, do you know when the best time of year to see the northern lights from Alaska. We are planning another trip and would love to visit Fairbanks or Coldfoot to see the lights
+MICHELLE DALTON Thank you. I have never seen the northern lights. I was in Alaska during the longest days of the year so it never got dark enough to see them. I would think the best time would be the dead of winter or any time of the year but summer...but I'm not sure.
Hello Robert, We still love to watch and listen to your videos. As if we are traveling with you ;-) A short question, how do you, or with what program, do you draw that red line with arrow on the map, pointing out your route? It looks very nice. Bye, Daniel
Robt , Thank you for doing so many great videos - I question why you stay in KOA and pay such high prices - there are many alternatives that are as nice and will save you money . Be Safe
Thank you! I know what you mean about the high prices, but time was very limited on this trip so I chose what, at the time, seemed like the most convenient location. It was a long weekend and every other place had a three day minimum. I didn't feel comfortable living the rig unattended at the truck stop all day. Do you have any suggestion for next time?
Cool video! I found you on accident while inquiring about small R.V.'s. Being a native of the Nashville area I was very impressed with your video. Good work! There's alot more to Nashville than boots and beer too. Its a great city and progressively on the move. It's just surpassed Memphis in population and one the coolest 😎 big cities in the south.
TravelingRobert we are staying at five flags rv park in pensacola, fl. The nicest rv park in pensacola, fl. Wife and I would enjoy showing y'all around and maybe a cook out. We also frequently travel to Jacksonville, FL on business
Very nice….how is the water heater working? I've heard locals pronounce Louisville as Lou ville….they drop the middle . How do your relatives pronounce it ?
Thank you. I glad you asked, because I asked them specifically, my cousin's wife being a Louisville native, and they do pronounce the "i" in the middle. I also thought you were supposed to drop it. I guess it is one of those like New Orleans or Missouri; it depend. who you ask. By the way the water heater is the same.
Printer's Alley has been a disappointment since I was in college near Nashville in the 1970s. We actually found better night life in Chattanooga back then, or ideally Atlanta.
Great video Robert! I love Nashville, I have visited several times for work. What software do you used to animate your route map? That is really neat. Thanks for the video. Very nicely done
Nomadic Fanatic does alot of 'boondocking', as you know I'm sure, Know you've done some but ever consider expanding that to save $$ ? Casino lots are pretty good for such. Find it a shaky proposition myself but for over night can work well.
+Robert Crummel I don't mind boondocking at a Walmart or a casino. In this trip alone we boondocked at Walmart a total of 4 nights and another 3 at the McCormick convention center in Chicago. I'll only do Walmart it if I'm going to be in the vehicle. I don't think I would leave the trailer alone in a Walmart parking lot and go explore a city.
Chicago boondocking wasn't free, it was $35 to overnight at the truck yard, and the security gate gave us a certain sense of security. Can't wait to edit that video.
Thanks for your video. Please check out my original, homemade songs, He Wasn't Just A Dog, Evergreen (We Remain) and Go'n Downtown. Thanks for listening and thanks for your video.

Amen! This man knows how to do it right!

Was there as a younger Teen, in the early 90’s.
Looks completely different than I remember, gonna have to visit as an adult at some point.
That was so good it was worth watching two times in a row lol very nice videos Robert thank you
I grew up in Nashville...it's crazy how much it has grown...i moved away though, I got tired of it
I just recently found your channel and I absolutely love it. You are right, there is so much more to see and do here in Nashville. I live in a suburb called Murfreesboro. I hope to see you up this way again someday.

Of the three videos I've watched on Nashville so far, this is the best.
Thanks!
You were camping right next to Opryland Hotel, which is great for a tour as well. Seems weird to tour a hotel, but this one's different. Especially if you can see it during Christmas. Love your videos!
Thank you, next time we'll check it out
Alright, the scrolling map intro is really cool Robert, you're really stepping up your game.
+Chris Danner Thanks! I'm going to add more of those.
Ok, I'm stumped. How did you capture the map on that scale and still keep it sharp? I can screen capture the map area and use motion to move the camera along the path but in order to cover that large of area, the image is pixelated when zoomed in that far. Any help would be great.
Well I had to give up. I cannot figure out how you did the moving map with that level of detail and sharpness.
perfect for travelling nice suitable destination
It is a fun town
Found your page last week. Was waiting for your next video (this one!), and it did not disappoint. Can't wait to view the Mammoth Cave video!!

Nice as always, but don't cut out the driving parts too much, as I and many more - I hope - love them also!
Oh, there's a lot of driving coming up on the next video. Thanks!

Man how lucky people are to live In such a state it would be like living in heaven.
Kentucky one the other hand Hell
Love your videos and thanks for the great information. How far was the KOA from downtown Nashville? Thanks again
About 15 miles on the expressway. About 10 if you could go on a straight line.
Hello Robert,
We still love to watch and listen to your videos. As if we are traveling with you ;-)
A short question, how do you, or with what program, do you draw that red line with arrow on the map, pointing out your route?
It looks very nice.
Bye, Daniel
+Daniël Jacobs Thanks! I use Motion 5 on a Mac. It is overkill as a software for just that but I use it for all the other graphics too.
Nice video, nice city! it's my dream to visit Jony Cash museum.
Great Video, I’m definitely make a road trip to Nashville, TN
Thank you. I really liked that city

Oh well, there's that. I don't know why it is promoted so heavily everywhere as something to do in Nashville.
Wat was the cost for the ride
The Uber ride from the campground to downtown was almost $17. A little much but I did not want to drive that night.
how much was uber back to camp site ?
$17, and then on the way back $23 because there was a surge.
Great video Robert! I love Nashville, I have visited several times for work. What software do you used to animate your route map? That is really neat. Thanks for the video. Very nicely done
I did the map with Motion 5 on the Mac
I like Nashville much better than Memphis.
Country Music Execs Force Mike Huckabee Out of CMA Foundation Over Ideology, fuck nashville, country my ass.
Using Uber for campground to city transportation is a great idea! Nice video 👍☺️
Thank you. We use it a lot.
never mind me i dont want to know that im not allowed anyways oops
Nomadic Fanatic does alot of 'boondocking', as you know I'm sure, Know you've done some but ever consider expanding that to save $$ ? Casino lots are pretty good for such. Find it a shaky proposition myself but for over night can work well.

Good job finding a place in Chicago !! Live close, have a friend there so been a few times to the big city but always remain alert !!

Chicago, $35, close to free ! :) Really looking forward to next video !! After a hard day your music & video's take the edge off.

Is this a pagan city?!!!🇮🇹
Thanks for your video. Please check out my original, homemade songs, He Wasn't Just A Dog, Evergreen (We Remain) and Go'n Downtown. Thanks for listening and thanks for your video.
hey traveing roberts do you have to pay to be a youtube star
Ann Grubb No! Just record videos.
I don't find this city interesting just a regular small traffic city
Nashville is boring, you can see everything in one day. Broadway is packed but it's all the same douchey bars and 3 chord bands playing the exact same thing. Robert you need to visit Kansas City. It's twice as big as Nashville, has MORE live and better varied music scene; Jazz, Blues, R&B, Latin and rock. KC has 2 huge bar districts Power & Light and Westport that put Nashville to shame. Kansas City has for more to see and do historically and much better art scene. KC also has beautiful architecture. You must also visit the Plaza District in KC - it is one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in all of the USA.
+shaka zulu Cool. Thanks for all the info. There is a chance I might go to KC this year.
shaka zulu you mean South Carolina
