Wow! I have so many succulents that I want to transfer into hydro and this video along with the one on Aloe Vera plants have answered so many of my questions - thank you!
Very informative video. I'm going to transfer my struggling Christmas cactuses too. Thank you! I will buy the KLN Dyna Grow. Lots of good tips with using a heating mat and drying them out between watering.
you probably dont give a shit but does anyone know a method to log back into an Instagram account..? I stupidly lost the login password. I would appreciate any assistance you can give me!
@Colt Aarav i really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. I see it takes a while so I will reply here later with my results.
Great video! At the end, you mentioned you having a video of how to propagate Christmas cactus cuttings. Do you have a link for that? I can't seem to find it. Thanks!
I prefer soil but I have a question. When repotting, can I rinse the root ball in the faucet to get rid of the old soil that's stuck to the roots (and not kill my cactus in the process lol)?
I strongly disagree with allowing the Leca to dry out. Since only the roots are in contact with the nutrient solution, if you let the solution evaporate, the roots will die
ok- good luck. be stingy on the water until see new growth. take plant to sink and run water through the pebbles - and that's it! repeat once every 1-2 weeks. no standing water at the base until you see new growth.
They look like a wreck after flowering, it’s natural and the plant should be treated normally. Let the soil dry in between waterings, epiphytes like that.
sorry for the delay! I have tried pumice. It does not have capillary properties - the engine that makes our system work. We rely on the media to "wick" the nutirent solution up to the plants. LECA works best for this.
I use 2-3 TBLS per gallon of water - which is slightly more than the package says. I have evn used it a full strength on cuttings. Tip: save the KLN used for soaking pebbles and use it to water new transplants. Mature plants like a KLN Solution every couple of months too! www.easygrohydro-store.com/dyna-gro-kln-rooting-concentrate-8oz/

@Louis Ernesto You are welcome =)
Where do you get the pebbles??PEBBLES??? I HAVE YET TO SEE THEM IN THE GARDEN CENTERS. JUST SUBSCRIBED. GREAT INFO.
I just potted my Thanksgiving cactus using this system. When do you start using the nutrients? Thank you for sharing your knowledge and expertise.
Thank you for this. Your products and videos are so helpful!
Thanks! I just re-potted my Christmas Cactus after viewing this!
I started putting nail polish on.
Very beautiful plants 🌱 🌱 🌱 thanks for sharing it 👍💐💐💐
Your videos are so helpful! Can Opuntia, Haworthia, or other cactuses live in leca too? Can’t seem to find it anywhere!
are you wearing nail polish?

I’m looking for those videos also. Can’t find them
2:20 - I skipped the vid to this point and thought 💭 nah those nails are too well done for a male getting mucky with plants 😂
New subscriber. This is fascinating content. TY!
AWESOME NEVER SEEN WITH JUST PEBBLES❤😂
love your channel!

I was wondering the same thing.
Never thought to do this with a Schlumbergera! I'm going to try it with one of my strugglers! Thanks
Will new roots grow if a branch/limb has broken off of the main plant and you plant it in leca?
Don’t know about Opuntia but I have 3 Haworthia Zebrina, Ric Rac cactus in Leca which are growing great
I’m having a hard time getting the dirt off mine. Any suggestions would be great.
I would love to get these pots in Canada. Why won’t you ship to Canada?

are you still active on youtube?
Oh goodness... if you saw my christmas cactus... it's a wreck, lol. I'm going to try converting to hydroponics.
ok- good luck.

@@kenjiro2676 I agree.
strange: from 2:07 the Hydroponics Guy suddenly is wearing nail polish.
Cuz its his wife. Not rocket science.
@@knitswithdirt So he became the Hydroponics Lady. Wonderful!
Would this work with desert cacti?
Thanks for sharing 🙏🙏🙏
Are you interested try led grow light with your plants?
Have you tried pumice as media?

How do you mix the KLN solution thank you.
