    With a single note and a lot of rhythmic variation he made his alone not good and not boring, and many of us want to put in thousands of notes but we neglect the rhythm

    Saxophone players who play all up and down the scale are mere beginners.
    They are just searching for this note.

    Don't get confused by all this ostentation, It's actually an F. (as it's written for tenor)

    If I had paid to go to that that gig then I would have expected at least 2 notes to get value for money.

      In fact, he's is a fantastic sax player. I have met him in the late eighties for the first time and he blew all of us away, literally!

    This is exactly the kind of guy that tells dad jokes and thinks he’s a comedian
    There’s nothing cool about making insincere music

    • @duncancofell8960
      @duncancofell8960 3 роки тому +5

      Can you call this insincere? It's subjective

    • @enzog1078
      @enzog1078 3 роки тому +4

      lol this shit rides, its all about how the context of the music can give even a one note solo flavor and meaning

      Tony is pretty much a genius.
      This is a solo that stands out.
      If you tell three dad jokes you suck. But if you manage three hundred it’s art.

    • @thelbronius

      Bro you have a right to your opinion but to call this solo insincere is at best, desperate. This guy said more with his one note than you could say in your lifetime.
