Kotegaeshi by Hitohiro Saito Sensei

In this video Hitohiro Saito Sensei demonstrates Kotegaeshi during his Aikido seminar in Florida in November 2007. The first uke that is showing proper ukemi is my sensei, sensei Yap.I perform ukemi for him at the end of the video.

Good ukemi is just practice and experience. Best thing I've found to help my ukemi is to relax, loosen up. I have this automatic tendency to tense up, makes falling a lot messier, and more likely to hurt.

That is munadori kotegaeshi! In this technique you don't let the uke grab you, and you make the technique as tsuki.
