When I was a child I was taught to say “I will try not sin again”
While I was praying in front of the tabernacle I was just pouring out my heart to the Lord and realised how wrong it was.
I understood that unless I received the grace of God it would be impossible for me to avoid sin unless Jesus shows Mercy and guides us with The Holy Spirit.
Fr.’s right. We have to keep working on ourselves… it can be difficult… but we can do it!
We must trust in the mercy of Jesus and we must also be merciful to others. We shouldn’t judge or aim accusations at others but we must humble ourselves and repent of our own sins. A true follower of Jesus should always have greater awareness of their own sins than they do the sins of others.

Maybe it was Father’s videos on Francis not being Pope, but I’ve heard he had a very busy schedule of events when he had first left and now I think he’s recovering from some type of medical procedure I think.

Fr Altier pointed me to praying Psalm 27 daily. Helped to restart my failing Prayer life. I've gotten away from praying it daily but am going back to daily practice. Struggling w/almost lifelong Depression, the Psalms gave so much consolation & inspiration.

Many years ago, when my marriage to my abusive husband fell apart I started an affair , and my Confessor said, “Good for you.” I am trying to make sense now of all the terrible things priests told me were ok or fine or understandable. God help us all. Thank you Lord God for leasing me out of that evil parish to a good and holy Opus Dei church and priests who aren’t afraid to tell us the truth

LSN should have the honesty to let the viewers know this show aired a couple of years ago. Many people, through ignorance or lack of attention, don;t recognize that this is an old show, and next Sunday is not Divine Mercy Sunday.

It would be commendable to have dates on interviews.
Thousands of Catholics survived for long periods of time without priests: no communion, no confession, etc, for months/years. They kept holy the sabbath and did their best. Fr Altman means well but some of us live in the middle of nowhere where the NO service and priests are doubtful. I drive 5 hours to a valid Latin mass and watch streaming Latin mass on the Sundays I can’t make the drive. Confession and communion 2-3 times a year.

Indeed, Faustina's diary was condemned by Pope Pius XII and Pope John XXIII. Therefore, Catholics should not read it, and are prevented from distributing any related images and promoting the divine mercy devotion.

Hope is a virtue I have struggled a lot with, and I guess it reflects weaknesses in faith and other virtues. Pray and specific prayers of devotion have helped me. If I can single out ones that I think helped me, I'd say prayers to Our Lady of Mount Carmel, slow & thoughtful Rosaries (with scripture) and prayers for holy souls in purgatory (specifically as found in the little but well-packed Pieta Prayer booklet. There's Saint Gertrude's prayer, but also a formula attributed to Our Lady at San Diamio which I'm sure I'm spelling wrong. That is: 5 Apostles' Creeds, and 1 each of the following: Hail Holy Queen, Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be, & Requim.)
I read St Faustina's diary many years ago. I actually remember the part when she mentioned that date and offering her extreme suffering for priests. How amazing it is to learn that this was Pope Francis' birth day!! We've been praying for his conversion for a long time at my house... I pray that he repents and publicly corrects all the bad things he has done. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on us! Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us!

We need to pray for our Pope, bishops, priests, religious. Including our Catholic school staff and those in charge of catechizing children and those new to the Catholic church. I am almost 67 years old. I was poorly catechized as a child. I am blessed to have had someone in my life that had a wonderful Catholic Education who took me under her wing.
