Was actually kind of a shock after all the jokes throughout the video to see him actually like be quiet and enjoy the ending was a nice change of pace tbh
Even the psychopath of UA-cam felt sadness at the ending
The final scene with aunt may essentially perfectly encapsulates spiderman
showing how he can't save everyone, and that he always does the right thing. perfect ending.

It would have been really cool if they'd made it so that completing all the optional minigames in Otto's lab made the final boss fight harder, like Peter is the one who perfected the arms in the end.

On a real note: Yeah. This game was created out of pure love for Spider-man and it shows in the ending. Such a heartbreaking and bittersweet climax that will most likely leave you more saddened than happy. It resonates with everyone that's seen it. The writing and voice acting was probably the best I've seen in any game. Playstation games just hit different. I'm so glad you posted the whole playthrough, though. So man great laughs and memorable moments. You did an amazing job creating this video. It's always a treat to watch your content, Kev. We love to see it.

I love how Kev is constantly swashbuckling but he’s genuinely quiet and sad at the end because the ending is just so heartbreaking.
I'm glad kev finished this and enjoy it and kevduited the whole experience which makes it more fun. I hope kev does the DLC and finish Miles Morales too.

and i really don't understand why lol. We pretty much knew it was gonna happen in some way from the start. It's like the Stereotypical ending to a Superhero story 10/10 times. Not saying it's bad in any way, just very very predictable from the start. often makes it hard for me to get emotionally invested in such stories. Guess i'm in the minority here tho

I read some thing about how based on tests with dummies the force need to uppercut a full grown man hard enough for them to go up at a 90 degree angle at least 3 feet you would probably cause an internal decapitation and higher than that would fully decapitate you and the fact that Spider-Man can uppercut people 20 something feet up into the air without even knocking them out is amusing to me

FUN FACT! Peter Parker is OP AF. He has a healing factor, can regenerate eye balls, can't get drunk (this is more of a "Spider-Man bible" thing, but he does have a speedster's metabolism), he has fought *G A L A C T U S* and won, he is *CONSTANTLY* holding back his strength for the sake of not instantly killing his foes, he is technically a speedster, you know that one Calebcity video with the hero who can instantly put on any outfit? Kinda like the New Kid in South Park: The Fractured But Whole? Yeah, Peter Parker has inhuman equipping speeds. I mean, apparently he is a literal speedster, who doesn't *need* to swing, but I guess he finds it fun or doesn't want to accidentally kill passer byes or something IDK. *ALSO. HE IS* (effectively) *DATING DEADPOOL, WHO CAN KILL THE ENTIRE MARVEL UNIVERSE. LET THAT SINK IN.* Also as noted by Deadpool, he is canonically pretty hot. Just saying, you couldn't beat Spider-Man in a fight. *ALSO, HE IS A SUPERGENIUS LIKE* (okay, he isn't as smart but still compared to most people in his universe, is like) *BATMAN, AND WITH PREPTIME, HE SOLOS* (baseform) *GOKU.* Just Saiyan.
(Edit): Oh yeah, base Marvel Peter would in that situation probably be faking being hurt, but insomniac Spider-Men are kinda like limp noodles with broken legs and arms and there's shattered bone showing and blood everywhere, like it looks cool but is kinda a huge nerf to what the characters are capable of. Just to clarify, I mean broken at the forearm and thighs respectively. Also, Yuri Lowenthal could do a great Sonic, change my mind (rhetorical).
(Edit): Now that both his parents and ommers are dead, Peter Parker is orphan^2, meaning in the next game he'll be so overpowered it'll be like he suddenly gained the powers of Alex Mercer or something. Shooting biomass tendrils, creating biomass armour, using super strength, running up walls...

Kev, you know they don't actually fall to their deaths when hit off a building? If you look, when "Bag-Man" hits them over the edge, a web is attached to them which sticks them to the side of the building. If you look over the edge, you can see them stuck to the side.
It doesn't always trigger I have seen a couple of enemies hit the pavement or one that really made me laugh bounced off a lamp post
@Joyful_Traitor true true. But that's more the game not working the way it should. I once managed to use a trip mine to web two guys together who were in mid-air. The game got super confused, and it just catapulted them miles away. Was a sight to see! 😆
