    For this small dash cams, IF all board and circuit are okay but the screen itself is dead, how do we confirm it? The connector that connects the board to the screen is flat wide cable. I don't know how to test it other than continuity.

      Oooo not sure... My one makes a noise when you turn it on, if I was getting the turn-on jingle, but not picture, I'd bet on the LCD. If I was savvy with SPI / I2C interfaces, I might figure out the pinout of the LCD connector, and check if the VDD (power) pin was high, but I've just had a quick search around and couldn't find any useful resources for that.
      But also tbh I'd probably replace the whole cam at that point - unless you've got a super fancy expensive one.

    Can we detach the camera and make it wireless completely separate from the screen and control and what do I need to do with that?
