I can honestly say I felt the same as you the first time I heard it. I really did. But then i listened to it again... and again... and again. I now feel that it is a masterstroke. It is so rich and textured. Layer upon layer. So much intensity and passion. Almost overwhelmingly intoxicating. Not sure how he does it. The dude is a genius. So beautiful.
This piece is one of the most poignant, most beautiful pieces I have ever listened to, ♢AND will ever listen to♢!!!! It has inspired me to develop a vignette [ a triptych of sorts ] in prose-poetry, involving some of my most important and pivotal characters, from at least two of my major stories, that I'm continuously working on ...
