I am an Iranian, and one of the centers of wrestling may be Iran, but it is interesting to me that there are so many fans of wrestling in America and they train so hard, America is a strong team in the world.😊
Why are you surprised? The U.S has always done good. This year alone we had 8 guys make it to the Gold medal match out of 10 divisions. Won 4 of those gold medals. 2 of those gold medals were again Iranian wrestlers.
@@86HellCat831 Do not forget that Russia did not participate in this tournament. And the reason why the Iranians did not get a medal is because of the lack of proper management in the wrestling federation. Although America is a strong team and I follow their wrestling on UA-cam.

Iran not winning more medals has nothing to do with the federation or management. You’re either good or you’re not. It’s an individual sport..

I'm pretty sure an Iranian wrestling fan is going to be aware of what went down at Belgrade and how well the US team performed. I think his surprised meaning was if you think about it most countries good at wrestling there is an ancient tradition and is a part of the culture. No other western nation has the love and passion for wrestling that US has. The US is a fascinating case when it comes to its love of wrestling. Don't know how it happened but I'm damn sure happy it happened.
