Vaughn Gittin Jr / Fun Haver MPI Steering Wheel Drag Car Install | 4 Eye Nitrous Controller

This time on SPPTV we are once again at the House of Horsepower working on Mustangs. This time the Sonicstang's wastegates are removed again (always faster the second time) and one spring is removed to bring the boost down to a more comfortable 14lbs on pump gas. It does suck making the car slower, as it is quite a noticeable drop in power. But as race gas is a rare commodity where we live, I only want to run pump for now.
Riley gets his new progressive nitrous controller installed also with help from Clayton. Last time Riley raced his car traction at the starting line was the issue. Hopefully being able to ramp in the nitrous will fix that issue.

Good luck with that thermostat, my 160 (stamped 160 and Gates brand so ??) was acting like a 180 so I pulled it and checked it in a pot of water and it was opening at 178. Quality control in this world right now is horrendous.

It is terrible these days.. they have a 180 one too so could've been misboxed or mislabeled. Getting alot of that too rn.

Remember Sloppy Tunes are mostly e85 tunes so be careful with your timing.

Nothing wrong with the 14/14 rule. I wouldn't be leaner than 11.5 on pump though. I run 25psi on 14° with E60 at an 11.0 with no issues for 2 seasons now.
