    Hi would that same paste be ok for paste the wall wallpaper. I bought that same one not knowing solvite makes a paste the wall adhesive .thanks

      Yes it will be fine make sure your wall has been sealed. You don't want all the paste soaking into the wall.

    I would have liked to see how you apply it. Do I brush it on the wall or on the wall paper? Can I buy that stuff at home depot or Amazon? Thank you

      You can apply it to the wall or the paper, if instructions require. You can use a brush or roller.

    Please feel free to tell me to get lost, but could I use paste the wall paste and put that onto paste the paper wallpaper and hang it? Ie using the same method but not the specific paste?

      You will have to check your instructions on your packet or box. They come in different sizes and you mix it according to the paper your hanging.

    Can i use ready mixed paste (N0 Nonsense) diluted to use as a size on a ceiling, and how much to thin it by.

      You can and no need to thin but we usually use diluted PVA to seal plaster before papering or painting. Thanks

      Depends what your using it for.. some papers need a thicker paste.. check instructions.. thanks

    Admittedly I don't really know what I'm doing, trying to hang some paper, thought I'd done I fairly goodish job, left it for a few hours ,came back an the paper had shrunk, left bloody lines, where am I going wrong? The paper is paste the wallpaper only type. Any help is appreciated.

      paste the wall paper should not shrink as it does not swell.

      It's easy for me to use a paint stick. Always have a paint stick in the van.

      Also, the main thing it needs is time to soak. You only need to store enough to stop settling.
