Outta all the dlc 17 characters goku black for me is my most disappointment. I wanted his ult to be like sword of hope trunk. Or give him a exclusive awoken skill only for him to where he has the scythe out the entire fight unless he gets broken.
Yeah, I wish they could've done a little more to his ult.

That "downward slash" is a completely different move called Divine Retribution. Furthermore, the Scythe Spin likely destroys ki blasts, and may have an extra property if used to cancel said blasts. A few moves do things like that.
You would be correct it cancels up to supers, but Ultimates still pass through

Rosé Goku Black Ultra Supervillain has really neat visuals. Divine Ray Bomb seems like it isn't complete, but the maniacal laugh at the end does sell it for me. So does the scythe at the beginning.
The spin on Crimson Edge is mainly for deflecting weak Ki Blasts, so mostly Ki Blast Super Attacks like Kamehameha, Galick Gun, Masenko, etc.
On top of the range based damage for Divine Spear, if you're at close range and you fire it out... it's unblockable.
@Ndukauba Divine Ray Bomb only does that little damage because I'm pretty sure you can follow it up mid combo, or at least knockback moves.
He definitely needs an update to a few of his attacks but he’s pretty cool. Devine spear needs it more. About instant death beam it does a blast only. The slash is divine retribution

I’m surprised this Goku black doesn’t have divine Kamehameha
I going to be completely honest. I think I'm most excited for Divine Spear, even if it's kinda weak it's still a relatively fast purple beam that sounds cool when you shoot it.
Crimson edge looks cool but also looks kinda... Incomplete? Like it feels like there should be a third hit following the "rule of threes" as is it doesn't feel like a proper combo.
Lastly the ultimate. It looks cool but I'm for one curious what damage type it is, ki or strike and for 2 wonder how landing it's gonna go, those "send the enemy flying and blast em" moves can be kinda iffy at times.
Either way I'm gonna find a use for all the skills but they still look a little lackluster. I remember people being most hyped for black before Broly showed up and threw him off the pedestal lol.
i think divine spear will be a great move to stun your opponent for more combo potential since you can see the opponent is stunned for like 2 seconds. the damage might be good if you pair it with a transformation on ur cac like ssbe or beast.

Yes most of them are, Saiyan class has the most but all races do get transformations. The only ones we don't have is Rosè and SSJ4
