That second motor most likely lost a coolant line and they kept riding it till it seized. Loss of a coolant line was not as common on the 2016 units, but very common on the 19-21 models. The discoloration is commonly referred to as bluing or rainbowing.

Any of the hose to fitting connections are a possibility. Look at all of them and make sure that the band is on the correct side of the fitting lip and tight. The hose on the oil cooler that uses Oetiker clamps is a common problem. Reach under the intake manifold and make sure that you can not rotate the hose on the fitting. If you can, pull the manifold and install a new clamp. The factory employees had a long history of short stroking the Oetiker pliers leaving the crimp insufficient.@@mashdatrashvideos2831

Be a good engine to clean up and make pretty on the outside and use for a display. Or mock up engine for mini jet boat builds or for a coffee table.
You could also probably donate to MMI. They could use it as a instructional piece for the watercraft class.

That last engine got 32 "Crazieee" that is bad!! Was the coolant low or what do you suspect would cause an engine to run that hot considering the oil looked ok
Probably one of the antifreeze hoses came off or broke and they kept riding it until it shut off 🤦♂️
interesting video.. it's too bad that the engines weren't unpacked so you could at least pull the dipsticks before you made the purchase. 😮
What caused that piston to melt? On the first motor. I have the same problem thank you

I have a 2018 rxpx 300 and one cylinder is scored. Is the motor sleeved or do I have to have it bored and sleeved or can I just get it bored and use an oversize piston?
😂😂😂😂 That is te engine out of one of those ski you see on UA-cam where out of the water they run at limiter for 3 minutes just so they can make the exhaust pop without even running water into the exhaust 😂😂😂😂 usual dumb user 😂😂😂 but hey I guess that can be considered skills too 😂

My 2016 fzs engine loiks as good as that one. I live in sw florida. take care ur ur junk oh yeah and it runs over 80, even modded skiis can last.
