Really enjoyed this! Would be awesome to get a second part to it.
I lived at 224 High Street in the 70s. I loved this area.
Hi Ms. Bozarth! A probable relative of yours signed my birth certificate in 1940 in Shamong Twp. 😀 I graduated RVRHS so I spent a lot of time in Mount Holly.
Very well done! I have shared this vid with all my Facebook Jersey group and so far getting lots of likes.
Thanks for the video
Thank you for this video. I really enjoyed it.
Thank you for this tour ☺️
This was an awesome video. Thank you
Love this! 👍
Mt Holly looks good here. It's a shame that some of the lovely older homes are not maintained properly. Just some paint on many of them would go a long way
Thank you Marisa. I had noticed and admired the homes/buildings many times as I had walked/driven up and down High Street; however, I knew very little about the history behind those structures. You did an excellent job making known some of Mount Holly's rich history. RVRHS72
There are multiple colonial homes in Mill Race on white that people can walk in as there are being used as shops.
Great presentation. I enjoyed it. Just a quick question. If the courthouse was built in 1796, how did the bell ring when we became an independent nation? The Treaty of Paris was signed in 1783.
Love this! What is the exact location of Chinese cottage?
Nice effort, but missing some detail at some of your stops (Sacred Heart school and church, where I attended both). You spend time at the Caroline Woln (sic) house built in 1880 and don't mention the house was used as a daycare where I was cared for in my youth. You mention some batty woman who commits suicide but no time discussing John Woolman, an influential Quaker, his two homes or the ponds named after him where I ice skated in my youth.
Well, she COULD have made the video 2 or 3 times longer and added more detail for each place she highlighted. Perhaps she did not know you skated on the ponds?

Did you go to Sacred heart grade school? I had a good friend named Chris Cole at sacred heart. He was hilarious and we had some great times in 6th and 7th grades. That was around 1971-72. Then he changed schools and went to Holbein. Never knew what happened to him after that.
trying to see if I'm related to anyone in Mount Holly my last name is Bozarth as well and my grandfather was from that area as well and then moved to Chatsworth
Awes
Ooh, I see the Lyceum
You left out the Washington House.
Anybody here remember Westwood Swim Club? (40°00'31.2"N, 74°46'26.1"W)
