Just one note. I don't want to be missunderstood i really like this video, but the distance from glass to leds should be the same as distance from leds to mirror so you don't have that gaps after every 2 reflections. Great work

A infinity consists of two mirrors with different opacity, the one in the must use a very low opacity and the front one has a high opacity, you never quite see the back one reflect anything more than the actual lights inside it while the front mirror reflects the rest. So yes, the dumb reflection would be from a mirror and not from a peice of glass, since using plain glass would not give the illusion of an Infinity mirror ^^

Im just wondering, I am a CNC operator and if I were to engrave a logo on the one way mirror piece of glass, would that also reflect back and look like the infinity lights ??

Hi guys, and grats for the cool clip InfinityMirrorArt. May i know what kind og glass you use for the top?On the bottom is a mirror, but what is on top?I used fim for car window mirroring, but the effect is not the same, i got only 4-5 mirror effect. On this clip i see 7-8+ mirror effect.
The top glass he used seems to be a double-sided mirror. double sided mirrors allow light to pass through from the back to the front.
You can also enhance the depth by placing more than 1 strip of LED.

use regular glass on top to keep it a usable mirror (as it is here). use one way mirror to make lights go into darkness - or buy window tint and tint a normal piece of glass for a cheap one way mirror

Can I cut the circuit board of the led lights strip in length I need? (ffor example, 100cm?)
so the front mirror is reflecting on both sides? i thought it was like those in police interview rooms, where you con see one way through, and the other side is reflecting. so i supposed there's just a sheet of glass with mirror foil on the other side, and these reflections are the same as when you are in a lightened room and look through a window and its dark outside.

The 'dumb' reflection must be caused by glass on the outside of the one way mirror. If it was by the mirror itself, you would see those reflections multiple times.

@wsmrj69 what i know from searching is at the exterior the mirror which is visible from front is two way mirror so one cant see the inside leds when the device if off(LED=off).
When the power is on (LEd=on) then one can see the LED and at extreme end that is of the wall is normal glass mirror so , from exterior it is -----> two way mirror , LEDs , glass mirror.

They will most likely work longer than the span of your lifetime. They're LEDs, so they have a very very long life span.

to be honest, he fucked the mirror up. you need one sided mirror, so it looks like you're looking into darkness... this is just a semi-infinite mirror. a mirror with some distance fading lights
