What a auction....superb biting....
Prices were pretty strong for porcelains. Although Bonhams catalog stated clearly that lot 46 was "possibly Samson", it was still sold at $11k, which already falls into the estimated price range for those Daoguang mark and period imperial bowls that we often see at Sotheby's and Christie's. Apparently the bidders didn't do their homework and didn't read the catalog thoroughly and carefully enough. Well, no regrets. It's a good lesson for them

😂😂Well that was weird.....I just sent a thank you comment and proceeded to watch. But as I'm getting older that includes my eye sight😅. I literally said out loud ( and yes I'm alone ...so talking to oneself is fine )...I said this was great & I love auctioneers , so I would prefer the video of the auctioneer could be a bit bigger.....and right on freaking clue at 7:16 I see the cursor move AND THE SCREEN WAS ENLARGED! That was cool!!!!
The sale was very weak; estimates barely reached! Crazy times we live in!

@@hobi1kenobi112 there is a market value/price for it , all bidders normally go from there, but u look at this MET/ Bonham's auction, alot of the items just went crazy price wise, wayyy over it's what it should be, and items MET has been unloaded wasn't that important as well.
Can't believe I lost lot 179, I bid the same amount as the won amount, I thought I was the winner, I am here to see the record of lot 179,, do you have latter part of the live video?
