    Such an amazing video with so cool shots and done with so much purpose! Really cool Salomon, thanks for showing us this part of the world and how something that distance is affected by us so far away.
    On a sidenote from the movie, is there any possibility that someone who's not sponsored could get a hand on those awesome new era Salomon caps?

    3:39 "In order to clear our conscience" you end up using dozens of animals for your own purpose, and the only thing that bothered you about it was that they were expensive.

      Actually dog sleds have been used for centuries in Greenland are a major part of their culture, mostly for survival

    'm an archive researcher working on a Discovery Channel docu-series (yet to air) called Secrets in the Ice. The show looks at what is being revealed as the ice melts and permafrost thaws.
    One of our episodes focuses on The Mummy of George Mallory and if he was the first to climb everest . We are interested in using your footage in the episode to help tell this story. Please let me know if this is possible. Thank you

    i totally disagree with 26:00. How on earth is this simplicity of living? You just crossed the ocean by plane and flew to that village probably by helicopter. Furthermore look at your equipment, which costs thousands of euros! so hypocritical.

    • @owenmcquarrie586
      @owenmcquarrie586 7 років тому +1

      I think you misunderstand, he means simplicity in the sense of freedom from modern civilization and overabundance of technology. Of course said technology was required to make the escape possible, you can't escape from something which isn't there.

    • @amblincork
      @amblincork 6 років тому

      @@owenmcquarrie586 He left a drone behind in this pristine environment - he brought the modern technology and left it behind.....what scientist does that ?

    I've got an idea! Let's make a Salomon promo movie on Greenland. We can virtue signal AF and brag about our guilty feelings. But...ffs..let's not talk about why it's called Geenland...

  • @amblincork
    @amblincork 6 років тому +4

    Leaving a drone behind, as junk, in a pristine wilderness is pretty irresponsible so it doesn't really look as if they cared too much about this wonderful environment.
