When in London I never pass any church that I may come across. They are an oasis of peace and calm in a city that can be frenetic, crowded and loud with traffic. I always feel better after visiting these great old churches. Great video.
My wife & I went to London, Wales, then Scotland years ago. We have wanted to go again. My Dads ancestors (Wolfe) are from Wales, and my moms family(Edwards) is from central England. My wifes families are from all over. Good tours Thank You 👍

All Hallows - some many years ago I was lucky enough to organise a choir and sing at at a wedding for a neighbour. A magic and tiring weekend! (In those days you could drive into London and the City -ark easily and no charges. Happy days.......
On my last visit to the UK in 1984 Southwark Cathedral looked VERY different than it does today. I barely recognized it. Glad to see it looking so bright and shiny. Thanks Sinead for another great tour.
It's a very moving video. This sacred places are so specials. Thanks for posting this marvelous images. And, as always, you looks so gorgeous, my beloved friend Sinead. Kisses from Barcelona, and I an expecting for a future adventures. Goodbye, Sinead O' Leary, Queen of tourist London guides. ❤❤❤💋💋💋
How lovely and inspiring was this tour? I loved every minute , thanknyou for showing us all of the details in all of the churches we visited. Well done, Sinead!
There is something so wonderful happens when a organ places and choir sings, just so touching x I love old churches in the British isles. The smell, the windows and architecture, everything
The song one can hear partway through the tour of the Cathedral of Westminster is Gustav Holst’s “Venus -Bringer of Peace” from his Planets symphony. One of the most tranquil and beautiful pieces of music composed by mortal man. The second movement of his “Jupiter-Bringer of Jollity” later was reworked by Holst at the time of WWI to become “A Vow to Thee Thy Country”.
I'll be visiting London in September. Your videos showed me awesome things to do and see! Sinead is great. She gives great information and history with her tours. She's showed me hidden gems that I can't wait to explore!
Hi Sinead awesome live video I enjoyed it. Londons churches are very beautiful and historical How are you doing? I'm doing well and so is my cat Benjamin. Have a great day see you next video 😊 we both enjoy watching your live history videos.
Great to see Farm Street again, Sinead, but there are so many other churches in the London area that I’d love to visit. (If that makes me sound pious, please don’t be misled!) 😃😃😃
Hi Susie Good morning. I hope my comment didn't sound as a form of privacy invasion your comment tells of a wonderful woman with a beautiful heart which led me to comment I don't normally write in the comment section but I think you deserve this complement. If you don’t mind can we be friends? Thanks God bless you….🌺🌺🌺
How did St. George's Chapel creep in to the video, last time I checked Windsor was still in the Royal County of Berkshire, I know London has expanded but not that far.
I remember Southwark Cathedral well. I was there in 2019, when Doorkins the tabby was still in residence. She died of old age the following year. The tuxedo you met is the latest incumbent. Name escapes me at present. Begins with an H. I would love to go back again. Went mad with the camera and was gently upbraided by a gentleman (vicar/church warden?)for doing so. I'm such a heathen😇😉
@@ToursbyFootLondon yeah, baby. A grumpy ol' gal was Doorkins, but she let me give her a chin scratch. Tried to take some other poor woman's arm off. Doorkins and I both scarpered with the arrival of a boisterous toddler. Run! God save me from little children! 🤣 I should dig out a pic.. Cheero 😉

Subway, thank you so much for including All Hallows by the Tower. In October 2007 I started a 6 months internship there for my English studies over here in Germany. I’ve met some of the kindest and loveliest people there and the time spent there is still so close to my heart. I haven’t been able to go there since right before the start of the Covid pandemic in February 2020 - so this video has taken me right back „home“. 🥲
Doesn't anyone edit these films? Princess Charlotte, who died in childbirth in 1817, was most certainly NOT the daughter of William IV ! She was the daughter of George IV and would have become Queen at his death in 1830 had she lived that long. That's why George IV was succeeded by his brother, William IV, who had no children that survived to adulthood and so his niece Victoria became Queen.

The Tenebrae Choir did the their splendid video “Me Miserere, Deus” at St. Bartholomew the Great’s Church.
Thank you for sharing so interesting.
Louisa Adams and Melania Trump are the only 2 First Lady's that were foreign born.
That's great trivia, thank you for sharing, Gary!
John Quincy Adams , who graduated from Harvard and was one-time professor of oratory & rhetoric, was one of the smartest presidents of all time.
Sorry to nitpick but St George's chapel isn't in London, it's in the grounds of Windsor Castle in Berkshire. Not London.
Nitpick away :)

That was entirely my mistake slip of the tongue
Sinead
Wasn't Princess Charlotte the Prince Regent's daughter by the wife he hated so much?
Oh, indeed! A slip of the tongue :)
