Some concepts will but overall no
Coach Harrell vastly improved a USC team that the previous year had failed to qualify for a bowl. He threw out the huge playbook that anticipated every defensive look they might ever see, and the Trojan air raid offense took off. By the way, congrats to MS St. for its victory over LSU (behind 623 yds passing).
History has shown this comment to be untrue, he is a total failure.

The Air Raid offense was being run in the SEC in 1997 with Hal Mumme and the Kentucky Wildcats and yes it worked.
Hal. Mumme, with Mike Leach, brought the Air Raid to Kentucky two decades ago.

I’m not saying Big 12 defenses are great but when you go up against this style of offense and have 90 plays run against you then you will give up yards and points. SEC, welcome to what we in the Big 12 had to and still have to deal with.

Tom brady has 3 of them and nick foles has one and pat mahomes has 1 bcuz of air raid passing concepts so it's doing pretty well in the championship department
@@speakingwithced Since the 70's? Cut you some slack and say 1997, you ask why? A quick search, a variation of a BYU scheme in the 70's-90's. The Air Raid as we now know it, started in 1997, Uni. of Kentucky, under coach Mumme & Leach. 5 out of 25 (since 1997) championships? 20%. Most of the Air Raid used now is more of a "Variation", more running, because they know that a true Air raid can't win.
@@Adones09 i already know where the air started from so dont need all of that but it doesn't negate the facts that i stated that air raid passing concepts have won plenty of championships and just bcuz an particular air raid users runs the ball a little more than leech does it doesn't negate the facts of air passing concepts are unguardable unless u have an elite pass rush. Which is why leech still be winning games and barely runs the ball. It's not a variation that's incorrect Lincoln riley uses the air raid he just added a power run game thats it so it's more like air raid 2.0 than a variation. Lincoln Riley brother, mike gundy and kliff kingsbury all do the same they run the same air raid offense they just use a power run game this doesnt make a variation of the air raid bcuz it's still the air raid they just run the ball more that's all. The true air raid already won that's my point byu already won, the 9ers won 3 championships in the 80s which the also the air raid is also based off of is Walsh's west coast concepts. Like you're trying to use semantical wordplay to try and downplay ability of the air raid already winning rings and it already has..

Also under your own argument of the AR being the greatest of all time, Mike Leach or his disciples win the championships ALL the time. Lol, they have a hard time winning their conferences! In this video, what happened to Graham Harrell? He got Fired at USC. Kliff Kingsburry at TT got fired, but failed up and ended up in AZ., where he still hasn't won a playoff game, barely made his 1st PO game last year.
