Will you keep the original bed on the 69 Ford or will you use the flatbed on the build? 🛻🛠🤔
I already know you are frame swapping to the newer model frame and power train, but was curious about the bed you would use.🛠🛻👍

Hay you could build a carport right by where the old LP tank had been. Have a covered walkway to the house. Cedar could park the Jeep there and the firewood would be alot closer to the house. Yes that is the most wood I have seen you have stacked and ready for winter! Stay safe and warm. God bless and protect.!

As someone who heated with coal and wood in the mountains of Pennsylvania, I have noticed that you always seem to wait until the last minute to gather, cut, stack, and season your family's wood. We had a huge pile of processed and stacked wood near the house - half was from the current year requiring curing, and half was dried and ready to go for the current year. The 1000 gal. propane tank was filled just in case the propane boiler was needed. The coal bin had plenty of coal in it.

A great video demonstrating the effort of preparing for the future. I feel that America is in a deficit of preparation for hard times. My father snd mother were kids through the depression. Their farms fed them. The rode or drove horses to school. My father was barefeet all summer. Shoes were saved for school and church. We grew up the same way, school clothes vs. farm clothes. This is make believe for most Americans, but mot for thousands of children sent to the midwest to be raised and fed by farmers. This time is coming again. I hope ge farmers kerp some grain in their bins for tough times. Thanks for a great video. Watch out with your deer experiment. I have seen big elk farms go totally bust in Alberta. Don't want you to suffer the same. Thanks for the video.

Didn't get everything done be we have a decent two day window next week to get the rest of the items checked off our list. This week had two meals from the pantry, home canned beef with canned potatoes for a quick stew like meal. Another night was Rice A Roni with a can of home canned chicken. I canned peaches, pears, applesauce, cherries and blueberries this year to help feed new grandchild. Started up our woodstove this weekend. LOVE woodfire heat. Blessings to you and your family.

What's funny is that it took me over 2 years to give away 2 cords of post oak firewood here in TX. I even offered to deliver it and it took that long to get rid of it. Here a fireplace is a hole in the house that hot air goes out in the winter and cold air goes out in the summer. I have had a fireplace here in another house and will never have one again. Stoves are not common here but much better than a fireplace. We were 100* a month ago here and this morning it was 36 26 wind chill and lows in the 20s tomorrow. We bypassed all the nice weather as usual.

We built a bit of a guillotine at the bottom of a 6ft long 20” bit of heavy wall pipe. It cuts accross the log and splits the cut-off in half in one operation, and it’s built to mount on either a skid-steer, or on the quick-attach for our excavator. You scoop up a log, stand it up over your wood pile or trailer, and just cycle the hydraulics. Cut, split, and piled in a hurry. We have some work to do on the cutters, as it can do a bit more crushing than splitting at the moment, but it’s a work in progress.

You need to look at Heatmor out door wood boilers. I live in north central Kansas and have had one going on 20 years. it is the best way to heat your house without the mess in your house. It can go almost anywhere and you pump the ot water under ground to what you want to heat! You can heat the house and the shop with one fire source. I will never use anything else until I can't cut wood.

Heath work smarter and not harder, get a firewood processor for the bobcat, it will allow you to cut and split your firewood with out having handle it many times, and it will allow you to process more firewood faster without breaking your back.

Yes, Heath! I was getting worried by the pessimistic tone of the first 18 minutes of the video. But casually preparing is the best way to do it. Don't be like the depression era people who leave behind 40-year-old food. But also don't fall into the trap of worrying about things you can not control and are being blown out of proportion, which is most things on the news in America.

Hosea 6 confirms the year 6000 is 2030. Religions Jews know their Messiah will appear in the year 6000 but their year is 5784 ... because they didn't want Jesus fulfilling Daniel 9, Jonah. Religious Rabbis say that they can speed up the appearance of their Messiah if they remain faithful to the law .. as they know the actually year 6 000 .... is very soon.
What's been happening this year is the start of the 7 year tribulation .. where Jews & Christians will be persecuted & killed for believing in the God of Israel, Jerusalem & the Bible.
      Blown out of proportion?
This is actually the end times ... of Mankind ruling the Earth. But God told us from the very beginning Mankind has 7 x 1000 years to procreate ... and the final 1000 years God will rule mankind. This is why God had a 6 day creation & the 7th day belongs to Him ... were God could have made everything in a split second.
There is no time ... in Heaven or Hell. Time only exists in the Universe with the living ... and it began 5993 years ago breaking a simple rule ... from God.

Heath an Cedar have become my favorite folks, having watched their lives for years before the Red Poppy Ranch. They are entitled to income for their efforts so I am now a Premium subscriber. The ranch is in a part of Idaho similar to our area in Canada, geographically and weather wise.
My best wishes to you and your family from a loyal Canadian.
