I had it on the Speccy and it was way too hard. Jim Bagley (my old mucker) told me that he tried programming it with some 3D script that he had come up with which ended up making collecting the seed too awkward.

But I understand road runner is faster than sonic and shadow etc etc but road runner is a mess when these controls like ass/arse (excuse me btw)
One of the worst things I've ever played on both the speccy and c64. Thankfully experienced both on "totally legitimate compolation tapes" I can't imagine how annoyed anyone who spent real money on it
They made a huge mistake by putting you in control of Road Runner instead of Wile E Coyote. The best Road Runner game, for me, is Cliff Hanger on the C64!!
What a terrible arcade game. I never remember seeing this game ever in an arcade, both in the 80s or in modern times. Probably not a lot of these left and got converted to a better game. As far as the conversions, convert a shit game and it's still shit. Ms-dos was mostly a wasteland until Commander Keen came along but at least it appears to be ega so it has more than 4 terrible colors. The others looked decent other than the amstrad which should have mever been released.

I used a normal stick in the arcade - at least on the 3 or 4 cabs I've played it on! It's just incredibly twitchy and you need fast reflexes.
As already said, Sabre Dance. Look up the version by the Toy Dolls, though. Ox will get this reference. 😊

It's a shame you didn't try the Atari 2600 version. For all of the 2600's limitations, the game's not too bad.
