Some SSR animations are way shorter than others, really shows they were SRs in beta, then bumped to SSR to dilute the pool and fit into a more predatory-like gacha lol
here is a tip for you all newbs out there. MAX OUT YOUR SR CHARACTERS, AND PUT YOUR MAIN SSR SQUAD ON SYNCHRO DEVICE Why ? Because your SRs likely have 2 limit breaks because of the dupes from gacha (max level 160) meanwhile your crappy SSRs have none (max level 80) Congratulations, now you're past the power limit wall. No longer stuck in the hell of waiting for your SSR dupes for limit breaks. You're safe until you hit that level 160 cap. You can continue the story, the tribe tower, everything else.
Is it better to just spam grenade launcher and/or sniper rifle instead of charging them? I guess it makes sense if one of the passive requirements need you to shoot many times to activate it?
Depends on the character and what skills are affecting them, for example alice burst makes her change time hella low so it's best to fire full charge wen she burst. Then some people have skills that only activate on full charge. Otherwise yes u are correct
Depending on buff. If you're team has more Charge buff it's better to fully charge them also if you calculate the dmg of fully charge and spam, it's actually relatively the same lol. it's just better in case if the enemies dies too fast and you waste effort trying to charge.

I think at the end game once the resources is not a problem which will probably take a year or two, u can just use any characters u like and max them cuz they can clear any content once you max level them, but of course they still need to be in the right team Meta team is really for competetive to flex high scores, for campaign and events any characters should be ok as long as you meet the power requirements and right team
@@mab3667 The thing is, nobody is going to be able to patiently wait for that long when they will, by that point, get used to adopting to the new meta and they would surely introduce even better characters in the future in order to sell their new units even more so than the already top tier characters in the game, or either quit to play a different game where it's not as meta heavy as other gacha games. Like E7 or something where you can just use a 3* to beat a moonlight 5* character. anyway, meta characters are really needed for story progression and leveling up your characters or getting more rewards from all the tedious modes in the game. Realistically, you would end up using SS and S tier characters in the early game to carry you to late game as quickly as possible, and that's like about 3 main ones (scarlet and all that) and 5 others filler characters that are better than all the A, B, C, and D tier characters. Sadly, with the fomo codes and overpriced packs, unless you're willing to spend $10,000 on this game to get scarlet maxed out, you won't be able to get your meta SSR character with 3 dups for max level unless you're just that lucky. Honestly tho, the game is too punishing toward players who just want to build random units just because they're attractive when they're not even that good in comparison to the top ones.
Have you tried the Elysion/Missilis/Tetra tribe towers with the Synch mechanic yet? Synch mechanic pretty much allows you to just build on 5 units evenly and have multiple other units to artificially gain the same levels as the lowest of those 5. With those manufacturer towers, the Synch mechanic allows you to easily run 3 entirely different teams (at least 15 units used). I wouldn’t be surprised if we eventually have to take advantage of this system to swap between units/team comps for certain challenges. The only downside atm is that in end game i would assume that we would need 5 SSRs fully limit broken in order to use the Synch system to artificially bring other SSRs to lvl 200 instantly (which would take a very long time to meet that condition and probably be stuck with lvl 160 synch during that time.

Of course, I'm not playing it competitively since that would mean spending $30 for 10 pulls; 200 per core pity in the shop so that's like $600 per core. Just how stupid is that? this is even somehow more overpriced than artery gear and the $450 pity in 200 pulls. But I digress. Ultimately, you will be using the SSR over the fully limit broken SR anyway. The sync system isn't enough for end-game since even there, it's limited to 5-6 S-SS tier units, even if they're lv 160, the core bonus won't be applied. my entire point here is it would've been nice if SR and other SSR can be as useful as the SS and S tier characters. It's just messed up how only 9 characters in the entire game are worth building but the rest are trash.
Nah, i use literally most of my characters depends on the weak point of the stage And i don't even have a meta character like scarlet, harran, or someone else Even my main is still rapi and neon that's on level 80 that almost do the highest damage on every stages, while the others is on level 74-80 You can use every SR or SSR that you want, and you can even win the hard stages, i even "almost" win the 50th floor of the tribe tower with 3 SR and 2 SSR which is rapi, neon, N103, emma and eunwha
