the only thing about Brissy is always flooding, and Perth is a safe haven weather-wise and flat land, and houses are stronger. Double bricked. Not to say Brissy hasnt got any good areas. What would you say are non flooding zones in and around brissy. or qld in general.

The flooded areas are wide spread all over Brisbane, worse so near the Brisbane river. But there are suburbs and pockets all over Brisbane that are flood free. Just have to do a proper flood search and you should be safe. Moreton and Redland council areas are mostly clear.
