It’s impossible for UN to intervene due to strong disagreement from China. Take Khmer Rouge and Polpot in Cambodia (1978-1989) for example, Polpot carried out a coup and massacred Cambodian civilians. When Vietnam tried to help and defeat Polpot, they were condemned and attacked by China. Therefore, it’s controversial and difficult for any countries trying to intervene.
To openly discuss such topics on international platform is such a huge and courageous step. Master in the House had always been so fun to watch and now they just occupied a respectable position in my heart❤

I don't hear much from myanmar anymore maybe because they have filters or ask stuff to be taken down. She is brave enough to go on TV and tell everyone in detail what is happening. Korean media has been progressing little by little lately and that's good, since not only koreans watch these.

But the Burmese community overseas are still trying their best to raise awareness and the media outlets not reporting on this issue isn’t helping 😭😭 I have friends telling me that I’m the only source of info abt what’s happening in Myanmar
Although I'm not from Myanmar, I am thanking the "Master in the House" production team to bravely discuss what is the real deal in their country. Salute.

I'm from Myanmar but I'm currently living abroad just like the lady in the video. Most of my family is back in Myanmar, and it is a truly terrifying thing that is happening at the moment. Everyone in the show feel so sad and empathy with Myammar same to me to. But I wonder if the topics of Israel - Palestine be discussed. No one gonna discuss about this as even the World Goverment doesnt care at all. It been going for hundreds years already. #FreePalestine #SavePalestine #IsraelKoyak
Actually I feel the same, when I watch this video in the bottom of my heart wondering "then how about Palestine?" same as Myanmar they don't deserve to be treated like this. Israel and the military government in Myanmar they kill innocent people as they pleased. Maybe cause I'm from Indonesia so I know the news about Palestine, but how about the other countries? As long as I know, they didn't pay attention to it.
I'm so thankful for sharing this story. We hope that the world would know more about what's currently happening in our country. We want people to know that those things are still happening even now. The situation has gotten worse. There are some things I'd like to add as well, 'cause I believe that while filming this show, a lot of new things happened. The first thing is about whitelist. I really don't know much about whitelist but basically we can only use the internet with the apps that they allowed to. For e.g. - they would allowed using facebook, youtube, viber but cut off other platforms. They are slowly making those things happen 'cause right now they are some apps which we can't use any longer. So we're worried that they might soon cut off all the platforms as well. The second thing is about reopening school. Now almost all the schools are reopening again despite of the situation and covid-19. Most of the students don't attend the school but of course they are some kids who are forced to attend the school because their parents forced them to do. It's only been a week since the schools reopened but a lot of unacceptable things occur. For example, the armed soldiers would come into the class and let the kids touch their guns and told them how to use it. They also make girls who are 9-12 years old to sit on their laps and post those pictures with caption "I'm gonna have s3x with you when you grow up, girl". They also do sexual harassment to the teachers as well. The next thing, which is the worst of worst, they are some people who works for them. We call those people "dalan" but I don't know how to exactly explain the meaning. Basically, those people report the police, soldier when they found out about people gathering, protesting and PDF ( People Defense Force). Because of them, a lot of young people were either put into jail or get killed. They're basically like backstabbers. If there are people who participate in the protest, they would report back to the soldiers and the soldiers would come look for those people and arrest them and kill them. Aside from the things I mentioned above, there are still a lot of things happening as well. But regardless of the situation, we sill believe that we will WIN for sure. We are slowly making the process. Soon or later, we know that we would get back our democracy again. I'd also like to thank to all the people who keep supporting us and pray for us. Thank you so much. We won't forget you. Please continue to support us and pray for us. May we all meet again when the spring blossoms again. #အရေးတော်ပုံအောင်ရမည်
@@lina_my We actually don't know anymore. But one thing for sure is that we won't back down no matter what. Everyone who participated in the protest has sacrificed their lives, future, dream and our belongings. We will fight back. So, please continue to support us and pray for us. Thank you.
This shatters my heart.... We can't even imagine the whole scenario and can't feel their real pain.....but I just pray that they can get there peaceful life back....
I am literally crying right now. I do not have friends or close family from Myanmar but I am feeling so sad for them. Right now the coronavirus has impacted everyone but people in myanmar cant even worry about that what they have to worry about is being on the run for their lives and no one can help them. I cant understand how families or friends feel about this but I try as best as possible to put my self in their shoes and it must be heartwrenching. I didn't even know there are problems in Myanmar until I saw this video 😭😭😭

yes the military has been harming innocent citizens( and it include rohingyas) for decades, but was just censored and kept in the dark from the mass people and media. now we know the truth and we will Irish ourselves for a better future
and where you at when the rohingya’s being slaughtered,,, as far as i know the citizen of myanmar not helping them either,, i am asking because i want to know the truth ?
I heard that military kept shutting down all rohingya news in myanmar past years. They kept spreading false info and news in national tv and newspaper. All people in myanmar didn’t aware or know the exact situation either. This war crimes also happened in ethnic groups in myanmar.
@@serinalim7172 yes. that is true. no one rlly know the exact cause or why it suddenly happen. when the situation escalated our state counselor was being hated by the whole international community, and only at that time the citizens support her. when I first heard of news they said the rohingya people sliced the neck of a monk. and that was false news ofc. but at that time most people didn't know, so many were enraged cuz monks are very respected here. but now there are more human rights activists and correct info, so we are finally getting the truth.
I humbly request please don't bunch up us with along side of the low profiles who took the innocent lives... I know we, most of us are in wrong but because we were accustomed to believe what the national TV and newspapers says and demonstrates. Because we're being under the military control for generations and brainwashed what they did are for the country's well being and the ones they had killed are being the mutineers for the country. Even Daw Aung San Su Kyi won the election and her NLD party was our current government, the frickin useless honor and power are still in the hands of military(they have tons of different sizes of many kinds of weapons to slaughter). So technically people's lives remain frighteningly in the palm of no-good military. Also raspberrys explanations are so detailed that I don't have to explain more. #အရေးတော်ပုံအောင်ရမည်။

It's good that this is being discussed seriously even on a vatiety show.
"The price we pay for democracy is really high" this is true. Can't really believe that this is happening now in 2021.
I can tell how heartbroken she is while talking about her country’s situation. There has been many government issues in many countries that are happening in real time that we forget to keep updated on all sorts of situations.
This is really scary and it's so bad that there's nothing we could ever do because things might escalate even further. I don't hear much from myanmar anymore maybe because they have filters or ask stuff to be taken down. She is brave enough to go on TV and tell everyone in detail what is happening. Korean media has been progressing little by little lately and that's good, since not only koreans watch these.

First they slaughtered ROHINGYA now they’re slaughtering their own people
May god protect us all 🙏🏻
yes the military has been harming innocent citizens( and it include rohingyas) for decades, but was just censored and kept in the dark from the mass people and media. now we know the truth and we will Irish ourselves for a better future
and where you at when the rohingya’s being slaughtered,,, as far as i know the citizen of myanmar not helping them either,, i am asking because i want to know the truth ?
