Really good job on the video! Some details about the creatures weren't 100% correct/complete but I think the list still holds up for the most part. The only spot on the list I would actually sort of disagree with is the Snow Owl - it really isn't a grinder imo. It's a great healer and fast personal transport but that just makes it an amazing utility creature. If it's just about carrying things around that's what the Argy's and Gasbag's reasons for being on the list were and they do it way better, even if slower. The only way in which a Snow Owl can take part in the actual grinding of resources is by using it's Owl Pellets for Gachas. But then the spot should really go to the Gacha instead, the owl is just support. (And then the Gacha should probably get the number one spot considering the vast array of resources it can farm very efficiently from the comfort of your own home) Theoretically you could argue that the Magmasaur is a more efficient metal gatherer and others may swear on the Mammoth, Theri, or Roll Rat for wood but the Anky and Casto are waaay more accessible and do the job really well. And probably more importantly they can be picked up by an Argy for significantly easier transport so personally I definitely agree with your list here. And for anyone who wants to know what the incorrect/incomplete bits were - I'll put them in a reply, this comment is long enough :')
Castoroides: All info is correct, especially including the fact you can find silica pearls in beaver dams. A notable addition is the Castoroides' weight reduction on wood - it only weighs half in the beaver's inventory (and so does thatch, fiber, and stone) Brontosaurus: All info for the Bronto is correct, saying "the Diplo is only a passive tame" makes it seem like that is the only way to tame it though. The Diplo can be tamed either way, passive or knockout. Knockout is more expensive not only because of the cost of ammo but it will also need more food. You don't have to deal with being pushed around or waiting around for the next feed though. Beelzebufo: All info is correct. I would argue it's better than beaver dams since the respawn for insects is a lot faster than for dams and you don't need to travel around. The only official maps completely without dams are Scorched Earth and Aberration, Scorched doesn't have the frogs either though. Basilosaurus: The X-Variants unfortunately lose their damage reduction when tamed. Also they're from Genesis Part 1, not Part 2. Part 2 has the R-Variants. And a little clarification - the Basilos are immune to the Tuso's grab ability, not Tusos altogether. Also the same way they lose health the deeper they go they will regenerate health the higher they go. Two notable additions are that it passively produces oil in it's inventory and it gives it's rider a ton of insulation against both hot and cold temperatures. Snow Owl: Normal Snow Owls spawn on Extinction, Lost Island and Fjordur. R-Snow Owls spawn on Genesis Part 2 and Fjordur. It can indeed be netted. It can not see through objects with it's heat vision, it just makes spotting living things easier. Gasbags: All info is correct. They also spawn on both Genesis Maps. Mantis: It actually spawns on more maps than it does not - The Island, The Center, Aberration, and Genesis Part 1 are the only official maps without them. The ones on Extinction can't be tamed due to being cave creatures though. Carcharodontosaurus: Also works great for hide. Getting an average for the damage (and healing) multiplier from Bloodrage is not really all that possible since it heavily depends on the amount and the species of kills. The more health a creature had the more stacks it gives. The cap sits at 1.75 times. (Lastly I'm being a bit nitpicky here but saying "you do not have to worry about the rage meter as the Carcharodontosaurus simply doesn't have one" with that much emphasis implies that that would have been a serious concern for other creatures. The rage meter is exclusive to the Giga. There should be no concern for that on any other species. Most established players would know that but new players might get a bit mislead with their future expectations towards large carnivorous creatures here.) Argentavis: It's 50% weight reductions are not limited to the mountain resources aka stone, metal (raw and ingot), crystal, and obsidian but notably also include both kinds of polymer and black pearls. Another thing special about it is that it can carry two creatures at once as long as one of them is small enough to be picked up in it's beak. A creature picked up in it's beak also will remain there even when landing and dismounting. (great for shoulder pet taming) Ankylosaurus: It does have weight reduction for the raw metal only, but in turn it has the best weight reduction out of any creature for any resource (85%). It does not have any damage reduction though.
I gotta disagree about the bronto being the best for berries. Sure it is good 100% But it is so damn slow and takes up an absurd amount of room in your base. Tickle chicken is superior (In my opinion) next to the mammoth for berries
