That made it so much easier for me. Because I was trying to connect one Amazon studio + One Echo dot 5 to my TV and obviously didn’t worked. I guess I can forget an about it and just buy another Amazon Studio so I’ll play it on tv with 2 of them as home cinema.
Thanks for the video, wish I’d seen it earlier! Can I connect a echo using the cable into the tv and have 2 echo studios also connected, would this work? Cheers
Great video Martin .My daughters are getting me 4k fire sick and a Echo studio for Christmas .. I'm thinking of pairing it with another studio I'll get myself . I would like to connect to my Sky Q box I'm not sure that's even possible. So I'm looking forward to seeing how you get on with the splitter .
Hopefully the splitter will work? The sky q box has optical out and a usb connection, do in theory, it should work with the splitter? Just waiting on delivery!
Hey, thanks for the video! Is it possible to connect the echo studio via cable into the TV and pair two echo 4th gen? Will they work all together? Thanks!
Hey there, great video...with my alexa app, I'm unable to access aux option, as you did...I tried hooking my echo 3rd gen to the tv via the 3.5ml as you showed, but I get no sound...I'm in Canada, if that makes any difference...any advice would be appreciated...ty🇨🇦
I bought the amazon echo studio and have connected it to my fire cube 4K - also bought a optical cable so I can connect it to my tv . Is there any point me getting another echo studio to connect to the tv as it won’t be in stereo sound or will it ?
I'd only advise getting another studio if you're going to connect them to your fire cube as a paired cinema surround. You'd have to get a powered splitter to connect two studios with optical.
@@UTILITARIANTVUK will any powered splitter with optical will do ? I probably will get another echo studio for the surround amazing sound . I enjoy watching your videos
Ugh. All I want is my Studio to to be my main TV speaker, and an echo in the kitchen to also have the audio so I can hear while washing dishes. Is there no way to duplicate the audio other than a karaoke microphone next to the studio and a long cord to an amp in the kitchen???
The only way I can think of is to have two studios and stereo pair them, with one in the kitchen and one by the TV . The only issue being is that one will be the left channel audio and the other the right.
so just to be clear, the audio will only work for content played through the fire cube/ stick. So native tv apps or normal tv will just come through normal tv speakers?
If it's connected wirelessly, yes. You can connect an echo studio with an optical/toslink cable. However, I did notice some lip sync issues with a wired connection.
@@UTILITARIANTVUK thanks. Ive got it set up and works great not bothered about wiring stuff up the fire stick has all the apps i need. Just waiting for the echo sub or studio to come down on black friday!! Thanks again for the video really helped me
Hello, one question: I want to get 2 echo studios and connect them as a stereo pair. Then If I connect my tv via bluetooth will the stereo link continue to work or I will just be able to listen to one of the speakers . thanks :)
hi Can apple tv box connect wires-sly to the echo studio i know it will work via bluetooth but i wanted the dolby atmos to work there are no physical audio connections on the apple tv box thank you for any suggestions..
The only ways to connect it to an echo studio would be by bluetooth or via the TV's optical output (if it has one). However, you won't get dolby atmos. The only way to get dolby atmos would be to pair the apple tv box to an apple homepod. Alternatively, you could buy a 4k firestick?
After connect my echo plus to my firetv using the home cinema way, I can no longer connect my phone to my echo plus as a Bluetooth speaker.. Any methods to fix that?

I don't think that would work. You'd have to connect them via multi room which disables the toslink connection.

Does it have a AUX Audio, line in or line out option in your Alexa app?
@@UTILITARIANTVUK there's no option for the aux in the app
Looks like the option is not available in Canada. How ridiculous!
@@UTILITARIANTVUK too bad hey, thnks anyway🙂
Can you connect an echo 3rd gen to another speaker via audio link to listen via TV..?
Wait so the 1gen 2018 fire tv cube doesn't support the echo studio with Dolby atmos? I thought it did since the 1gen also supports Dolby Atmos.
Thanks for your help

The connection gets lost all the time when using the echo Dot 3rd gen with Alexa are these any better
Hello, one question: I want to get 2 echo studios and connect them as a stereo pair. Then If I connect my tv via bluetooth will the stereo link continue to work or I will just be able to listen to one of the speakers . thanks :)
Unfortunately not. They only stereo pair through Wi-Fi with a compatible fire stick or fire cube. Bluetooth will only work with one speaker.

Have you tried unpairing and re-pairing again?
How can i find out which cube version I have?
I believe the 1st cube has had an update so you can check your software version to see if it's up to date.
@@UTILITARIANTVUK Found it out:
1st Gen has the Model Number EX69VW printed on the bottom, while 2nd gen has
A78V3N
So I can’t connect an echo dot 4th gen via cable to the tv?
If your TV has a headphone socket you can with a cable with 3.5mm jack.
