Heard of him during one of his interviews said " looking at the scores which are too high, I guess it's ok for me to make a mistake and and let everything happens." He's really the youngest gymnast that time. Somehow, proves that if you just focused, clear your mind and let determination to play creates a wonderful result. On the other hand, he's Japanese coach Kugumiya san mentioned that he did better during their practice but still confident of his perfomance. I started thinking what his perfomance would've been if he executed their practiced routine.

The fact that he has to train abroad speaks much. We hope that his continued success as a gymnastic star will bring more focus on the long due necessary improvements esp. with regard to the needs of gymnastic athletes. Thank you for this joyous and proud occasion for the Philippines, Carlos. Stay driven and humble. More power to you in the upcoming 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Lots of elite and professional atheletes from various countries live and train in another one, especially in the USA, because it's more practical in the long run. I don't think economically-strapped countries should invest millions in athletes if they cannot meet the needs of the majority of the population. So if the Phillipines has lots of discretionary funds then sure, use it to train elite athletes.

Sally Vee Duterte has made many changes for the Philippines for the better, unlike other presidents. Compare his work from previous presidents. Economically, education, tourism, employment, etc......we have risen higher than before during Duterte’s term. Duterte has focus on cleaning the Philippiness up and help with air pollution a big task to do. Remember Davoa he kept his city clean during his term. So in short Duterte has done more for the Philippines than other presidents......that makes the other presidents more crock that Duterte cause no changes was done for the future of the Philippines
I know so cause Secretary Adelino Baguio Sitoy is my Uncle who works for him in the higher office and has been his friends since they started as lawyers.

My heartfelt congratulations to our great KABABAYAN. We Filipinos are proud of you. I read some comments that Yulo's win because he was trained abroad. I respectfully agree to that comment. But before looking why our athlets has to train and sacrifice abroad because we have nothing. No place or facilities to train to be competitive. No coaches who really put their effort to train our athletes. I'm not saying all but most. Our athletic commissions and authorities does not have the expertise to manage or to make sure the our athletes were given impotance in care and training most of all their facilities. The only way forward for us is to train abroad and sacrifice for themselves to be away from their families to achieve their goal and gold. MABUHAY for all the athlets who win medals, or even to those who did not win for the sports they joined. I still and am proud that you represented the Philippines in sports all over the world.

Hindi yung mga nagpapasikat nang ibang sports na wala naman napapala, nasasayang lang ang pera na ginastos na walang pinuntahan. I hope those people who are invovle in this institution should open their eyes, mind, and heart that there are someone who deserve their support. Dapat fair naman sa pag suporta ng mga athlete.... Carlos is still very young...many...potentials and medals to achieve in this sport. Japan 2020 Carlos will be the Nadia/Simon of this Olympic...I can...see him medal in the AA event if he sticks his routine and maybe increase his difficulties before the Olympic comes. If he does that maybe win some medals on the individual apparatus...pwera buyag...
