They probably didn't give one to Peach and Mario because they already had their "stronger than strongest" (ie. OP) weapons: The Lazy Shell and Frying Pan.
You are probably right, they are the only two 'hidden' items in the original, the others being in Bowsers keep was very easy too find. I just feel like Johnny would of been great candidate to give Mario a ultimate weapon as he has a huge amount of respect for Mario And Peach could of definitely got something from Bundt as a nod to where this is where you originally saved her!
@@Mythrigon Yeah would have been cool. For Mario, maybe something akin to "Johnny's Trident" as a memento of them being rivals (or a hammer resembling a trident). For Peach, idk. Maybe a Tiara to do a slap-like attack (similar to her Fair in Smash games)
Ok got the super suit Timing and tempo is really important Just count to 10- ten times also the tempo is a lil on the fast side/pace got to 30 just on tempo alone
Yes so after 14 jumps the jump window becomes vastly smaller. The general idea is tho if you can hit 30 you can definitely get 100 eventually as you already made the tightest jump 16 times in a row. Its just practice :)
"But i Got a super mario RPG remake, what more could i ask for?" No shit. Hell, they could have done a 1-1 port and I still would have paid full price for it.
@@anemite2 Yes this is rather common in some of the older RPG games this was remade from! Glad the guide helped as i been thinking of bringing them back for other new rpg games
Bowser's weapon is a great upgrade for him, but I feel like Mallow's ultimate weapon is nothing to sneeze at either. It's the only weapon that increases his magic damage and honestly, you don't play Mallow for his physical damage. XD I do agree that Geno's upgrade is a little meh, but the guy's already got some seriously ridiculous base damage on both physical and magic working for him. so... I guess it's whatever? Maybe it could have boosted something else or made him use less FP or something.
Bowsers weapon is a very welcomed addition for sure! and Sage stick increase for Magic attack is a very nice boost! I do not know what they was thinking with a 5+ Damage boost for Stella 023 but yeah Geno holds his own anyway. The thing i am most disappointed with is the lack of Weapon for Mario and Peach!
I was a little salty that Chain Chomp was upgraded instead of just being given a stronger one. I used to like using their weakest (armed) weapons to take on Smithy.
Yeah, what you can do if you ever replay is skip the chain comp and beat punchinello (2) and you wont have a chomp for him to upgrade, so you can pick it up after and keep the weak one, till you go back and speak to punchinello again
Majority of the best armour is just bought from late end shops, there is the ultimate Super Suit you can gain from achieving 100 Super Jumps but it is a very challenging task :)
Its too bad the game LACKS a NG+ run kind of making the POST game weapons kind of useless but don't fight Culex 3D without them and still Lazy Shell armor Peach.
Yeah they really only come in handy for a couple of fights, i would of potentially liked a more story driven post game that could of solved this issue with a new dungeon to face after refights, maybe like cleaning up left over smithy weapons that remained in mushroom kingdom and there being an overpowered one hidden.
@@Mythrigon I had a lot of troubles on the game myself even after loving it from start to end, reviews gave it a score of like 82-85 on average, as a big fan of the original, I would have given it WAY less, the story is practically the same with no new innovative additions. They hyped up boss rematches and rather than being full scaled endgame boss fights it was like they were part of the story level and gameplay wise, there only were like 6 of em and half were just glorified minigames rather than actual tough boss fights. I would have loved a new rebuild story (have the same one, but add content in-between, like Axem Rangers actually causing trouble at times like they are suposed to based in the game itself if they aren´t gonna get build up like many other bosses do, not even limiting myself to the Smithy gang, Croco gets some build up twice). I mean, if bosses rematches were that limited and not really endgame focused they could have added a Hard Difficulty unlocked after beating the game (so, you have a reason to replay it, being short as it is, even with the new content, which would engage way more people rather than just having to play the whole thing again just to grind for the good stats on the characters and try to beat the Superboss in the less turns possible, which yeah may engage some people but definitely not many).
It is the chomp found in Boosters Tower, about half way you came across multiple pictures on a wall by a locked door. Flip the pictures in the correct order to unlock the door. The correct order of pictures can be found in the first room in Boosters Tower

But the Chomp Shell is his weakest armed weapon, as it's the Chomp but it deals lesser damage.
