Welcome Sign for the Office

We are spiffing up a Dollar Tree sign. It had lost its wreath and must have encountered a battle on the shelf. 😊 But I had a vision for this little sign, and we got it pretty close to that vision!
It was an easy project that earned me a lot of bang for my buck!
Items needed for the project:
• Chipboard sign
• Stash floral spray stems
• Floral greenery
• Beaded garland
• Sharpies
• Thin wire
• Scissors and wire cutters
• Hot glue and hot glue gun
• Drill with very small bit
Directions:
• Gather all materials
• Give the sign a general cleaning
• Remove hanger
• Using large Sharpie - run along perimeter - allow to dry
• Using smaller Sharpie - touch up hanger holes and any other small areas
• Using smaller Sharpie - draw vines and leaves along the outer border of the front of the sign - allow to dry
• Using left over floral spray stems - create the base for the wreath
• Use other left-over stems to reinforce the wreath base
• Using hot glue, attach the background greenery
• Attach the beaded garland using its own wire
• Using hot glue - attach the main greenery
• Using hot glue - attached pieces of greenery that will act as a highlight for the wreath
• Remove some of the “beaded” from the beaded garland
• Using hot glue - attach loose beads in a way that is pleasing to the eye
• Look to see if there are any areas that may need a little extra greenery - fill in
• Using hot glue - secure all loose ends on the back of the wreath
• Decide placement of the wreath and mark with small Sharpie on the sign
• Drill very small holes in the sign
• Attach with to the wreath
• Push wire through the holes and twist to secure on the back
• Using hot glue - secure wire to back of the sign
• Hang and make any necessary adjustments
