He was taken too soon from us and maybe that is why we never forget him to this day because they shared with us their special love and time together.

My memory may fail me with this, but I'm like 99% sure that happened. It's heartbreaking and such malpractice. But, the cause was genetic, so it had nothing to do with his physique.

Perfect song for them. The current pairs skaters are athletically great, but, in my humble opinion, they do not possess the elegance and style of G&G. Sergei didn't need to throw her in the air so high and far that he practically fell over. She flew and floated through the air like a butterfly. It is nice that we have these videos to watch almost 30 years later. Thank you for a great montage.❤

She isn't, she divorced Ilia several years ago and later found love with pro skater David Pelletier (of David & Jamie Salé). They have what looks to be a wonderful and supportive love later in life! It's a sweet blended family and they said everyone gets along and co-parents. :)
