This lens has a crazy good sense of volume, very impressive.
I need to break out my strip boxes. Thanks Kyle 😊👌🏾
What lightstand are you using there? I like the expandable legs that spread over the groundplane of the softbox shape to keep the center of gravity inside that boundaries :)

Around 7:36 mark: what was the stripbox set lower than normal...almost like lighting from a lower angle? Thanks for your video. I'll definitely enroll on your workshop.
I put the light lower to make it look like part of the reflected the light from the ground. So it’s more convincing, looks more natural.
Amazing photos! Great BTS. Need to buy strip box)
Beautiful work and content interested in your power settings?
Between 6-8. 1/16 to 1/4
Amazing photos!
That model if wasn’t for this bts i would have assumed she was AI😂 great job sir. I love your images and lighting, composition, posing etc
Thank you so much 😀
Nice with and without flash photo samples…And content of directing the model and photo theory. Questions: do u need a permit to shoot in SFU with flashes?? 2, in other videos, u mentioned to place the flash in roughly the same direction of the light. … this time is the opposite….though u explained a bit about this is backlit shoot with flash to light up the model’s face. Could u explain a bit about the angle of your placement???? Maybe include the shot and explanation of the worst placement? So if we take the time and effort to go out and shoot, we know where absolutely not to place the light. Thanks for the content…..and thx for explaining a little bit about placements at the last minute.
Good question, I’ll make a video about it. No permit needed in SFU
What is your thought process on when to select vertical vs horizontal orientation on the strip box?
I choose horizontal when I need more light on the shadow side.
Подскажите пожалуйста, а как вы в городе выбираете место для фото со вспышкой, на что обращаете внимание?
Choose a location that gives you most varieties. Different style of building, colour. Location that allows to shoot at different angles. Include pointing the camera up. Check sunrise and sunset angle if shoot during the golden hour.
You obviously use a light stand with three legs adjustable in length. Therefore the light stand can be used on uneven ground oder stairs (see 3:50min). What brand/what type is it? Can it be used for larger strobes as well (say 3kg)?
I believe it can handle 3kg. strobepro.com/collections/light-stands/products/9-adjustable-air-cushioned-light-stand
@@KyleCongphoto Thanks. It is quite a pity that StrobePro products are not available in Europe / Germany. I like the light stand very much.
@andreasstolten9179 try Amazon see if you find a similar one.
Is their a special reason, why you use a stripbox and not a beautydish or softbox?
I explained this on the video 1:27
Amazing
At last, someone who knows what the hell he is talking about. I think that lighting created by the rails had potential too.. Would have been worth z try for a high contrast B&W fashion type image, or even a Helmut Newton type photograph.
