"Hanging with the boiisss" - Cody garbrandt
Number 12: the Chester Bennington
You didn't show the one with the rope, they say you can only do it once in a lifetime
😂
haha
LMAO

Oh.
Knee hang- great for hips. Fixed my joint pain no doctor could as xrays were clear
interesting!
*Friends, I did 20 one arm pull ups, please support me*
Maybe some decompression like a inversed table does
* Essentially Nordic curls held for an isometric exercise?
Also strengthens hamstrings
Hanging on in my life... That's the best I can do👍
As a calisthenics dude, i can do all of them except the bat hang, and that 360 shoulder dislocation hang
Gotta work on German hangs fundamental to any backlever, hefesto or manna skills
Do shoulder dislocations with a stick
I can bat hang… …with climbing shoes, in a gym, on grippy holds.
Not sure I could do it in Vivos on a metal pole 😅
Same bro the bat hang be the hardest 😂 but gotta get used to it now that I plan on doing a handstand
@@Will-kt5jk I mean kinda same here, I've done a bathang on holds that had no business being bathung on. Craziest one has to be one that had to little space to place 2 feet so I stacked them on top of one another.
Knee hang is an amazing back stretch
I like the one arm alternatives,
Perfect move bro.
I love it
Keep up the good work

The one-arm hangs elevated my grip strength and shoulder mobility into another level.
When Strenghtside calls someone to "hang out":
Good shit this channel is.
agreed master yoda 😂

As a rock climber, I've gotten used to the bat hang to where I can now hold it for a solid 60 seconds.

I didn't know my brother was so dedicated and into calisthenics, he's been hanging with a rope in his room for the past 2 days.. 😮
Damn
He might need deodorant soon.
Shoot did he like write a note or anything?

THE FLASHBACKS

I loved hitting these bars. Wish I still lived in Arcata
Found an outdoor set! Nice ending bro 👌🏼
I'm so impressed with all those flips and twirls around the bar
Bathang is absolutely amazing, I love using it while climbing
Perfect hang cured my shoulder problems: start with an active hang, lean back like you want your chest to be parallel to the ground and pull your shoulder blades together. Then externally rotate the arms like you want to bend the bar
Heys Guys, I took up hanging about a year ago and love it. It’s also helped with some shoulder injuries. I’ve been trying to get into pull ups for several years but every time I do I end up with elbow problems. I’m 70 years out and love everything exercise related, I would really like to improve on my pull ups. Any advise on my elbow issues with pull ups?
Try chin-ups (easier). Jump up or use a chair and concentrate on the downwards portion. Isometric holds at various points also are low stress strength builders.
Often elbow pain is caused by tight or weak forearms. But it's worth seeing a decent physio and seein if they can test your mobility and strength in diff areas and rly work out what the root issue is. Don't go to a doctor tho, theyre useless
My AC is been messed up for almost a decade. Do you think it will help me? What was your issue?
If I remember correctly then biceps and triceps isolation training should help. Partially due to using the affected area (aim for 10+ rep range), plus those two are stabilizing your elbows. Also you can play with hanging with slightly bent arms, isometric holds, they are easier on the joints but can help you build strength.
@@Wildonnor did you really just tell and elderly person that doctors are useless?
literally hit active hangs before any heavy pressing or pull down movement, it gets me prepped to hit that cue on my actual sets
As an aerialist, many of those hangs apply to a trapeze and the toe hang (last one) is a skill people do
I cannot thank you enough guys. This knowledge should be monetize for how good it is, but you choose to share it to the world without thinking. That shows how much of a great people you are. A F****** MAZIING!!
The upside down one stretches your back, feels really good and makes you a bit taller
Hope everyone doing good and staying safe. If you need to talk to someone or need help, there are people who care. Sending support and hearts. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤️❤️❤️
Anyone looking to slowly get into shape when they feel the gym and most exercises are beyond them; pay close attention to this video.
Not only do these all increase grip, forearm, and lat strength, but the FIRST step from getting from completely out of shape, to COMFORTABLE mobility (the most underrated and least discussed aspect of health), are these hangs, and other assisted variations... you will quickly build core strength, and that will make you realize how important at least introductory strength is to the ease of moving through the day to day of life.
Bro just became the Fantastic Gymnastics game at the end
Thanks for the tips
What do your fingers look like though? Do you still feel anything or is your skin pure leather
You missed one :):) My favorite hang is with the loops that go around your elbows (commonly used for knee raises or abs). Less grip strength is required so it’s easy for almost anyone. I like to hang with one arm at a time and spin 360 degrees left and right. Really opens up the shoulders and gives your grippers a break.

That last flip was smooth af 😂
Thanks
The smooth flip at the end tho🤌
I wasn't looking when the video started so when I heard the intro my mind went there
Great ideas! I will have to try this out! 😊
at the end bro just said: Check this out
Thanks ❤
Great vid dawg
I use to feel so cool in high school being the only person to do a foot hang
Love the channel! 10/10 of the hangs
Dude I wasn’t looking at my phone for 2 seconds and it started talking about how to hang lol
good job man 👍
very decent info. hope to see more of you
5 is very good for the spine and pelvis
The bat hang is by far the hardest imo
The ankle hang is easier than a lot of people think
Rest in peace my friend who tried out the 11th way
I caught my dad trying to show me a new method when I came back home! He's really strong! His neck muscles must be crazy to remain on the rope for five hours straight!
Didn't know Arcangel had such great hanging skills
I can do none, but these are goals.
As an acrobat I can do all of them.
NAH THAT MOVE IN THE END! My boy a trapeze artist
All 10
11. Noose
From the thumbnail I thought you were doing the rallying cry emote from elden ring as a dark souls character.
WE ARE GENTLY OPENING DOORS WITH THIS ONE 🗣🔥🔥🔥
Nice bro! I used to do pull ups on these bars when I went to HSU too c:
Such a blue sky!
U r tuff bruh
I wish I could do any of these
My grip strength and ankle strength are pretty good so probably all of them for at least 3 seconds
Me: how’s it hanging?
This guy:
Not everyday you see your tiny home town in a UA-cam short
Bro became vince carter
I can do all
Just doing what comes naturally for them
This is how I wanna train
This looks fun
bro missed one 🧓
See I wish I could do this but my joints are so shit that I can't even get out of bed
Knee hangs are good paired with abb cruches
❤your work guys.
Number 11- Hip Hang is also an essential upper back, neck and shoulder stretch and great for rehabilitation of rotator cuff impingement
Number 12: Rope
Nice scorpion landing. 😂
All of them, and during bouldering I'm working my way towards a one foot bathang on a solid climbing hold.
U just taught me how to muscle up by coincidence after a thousand how to muscle up videos
The german hang makes my shoulders hurt even while watching someone else do it
NONE OF THESE BUT IM PROUD TO BE TRYING!
I used to do that bat hang back in grade school and everyone would be like woaaahhhh 😅
I'm glad I can do all of these. Hopefully when I get older too 😅
you forgot from the ceiling fan.
8 of them
Upside down is great for decompressing your spine
Ankle hang cool af looking
I like the 90s hang myself. That's Hanging with Mr Cooper......😅
10 I tried to do in grade 2. Not sure how to not wake up with a mouth full of dirt. Steve-O got nothing on me except video evidence of him doing cool shit
3rd is my favorite. Didn't know that was a thing
I thought it was El Siberiano for a sec there! 😂
I do most of them to train for climbing, alt 1 arms are my most common, bat hangs are mostly just for fun but great for toe hooks
I literally can do all the hangs but I haven't tried the elbow hang yet
When i dead hang I black out
I like the bat one
All of them
All of em
I could possibly do knee hangs but I'm not quite confident enough yet.
Knee hang ia good for stretching out your back, at least my back always felt good when i used to do it
