    Comparing Matt Nagy or trestman to Ben Johnson is insane. Ben has led a top 5 offense for 3 straight years, he’s done the play calling the whole time. Nagy didn’t call plays(and still doesn’t) in KC and trestman wasn’t even an NFL coach.

    • @JCar0106

      Why would Ben Johnson leave the Lions top 2 OL and come to the Bears and the best OL Ryan Poles has ever had trash and have the same success? And why would he want to? Bears need a tough experienced head coach that won’t get caught up in the McCaskey lack of embarrassment dysfunction. I have little hope that the McCaskey’s will allow a tough leader to be hired that won’t kiss their ring.

      @@JCar0106 you asked why he would leave the lions, that’s why. If you want some tough guy that’s your prerogative, but Andy Reid, Sean McVay, Matt LaFleur, Kyle Shanahan, and KOC aren’t hard nosed tough guys either. And they are tops teams in the league most years (McVay and Shanahan get a pass for a tough season). Your thinking is outdated. More young offensive HCs keep coming down the pipe, it’s time to grab one.

    • @JCar0106
      @JCar0106 2 дні тому

      @ OK, I can live with your view on pulling in an innovative successful first time offensive play caller as HC even if they have no prior HC experience, using current examples. The difference is the Bears didn’t hire any of them. I think you can respect that watching the last three Bears first time HC hires that fizzled and failed, quickly (Trestman, Nagy, Eberflus) could lead to preferring an experienced coach to bring calm and leadership. Two of those three were “innovative offensive coaches”. So it’s possible the real problem for both of us is the Bears decision making. In which case we’re both still screwed under the McCaskeys. They will pass on the best candidates and hire the next weird choice using a disconnected consultant that George thinks is his cheat code. George needs to stand down. I hope for success but am not going to hold my breath. I’ve watched the Bears for 40 years, and George awkwardness for 12 years. I hope you’re right.

    To get the Bears to change and for McCaskey to pay attention, us fans have to stop buying any merchandise, going to the games or even watching them on television. And spreading the boycott on social media. Yes it will suck not being able to watch but that’s one way us fans could influence ownership.

This has been the pattern; O sucks, three and out a lot, defense plays 2/3 of game or more. As defensive injuries mount due excessive minutes the O deficiencies become more glaringly apparent and there goes another coach/season etc - sound familiar? Money Bears spend 10:14 10:16 10:19 10:40 for O line is 27th? Tells you where problem might be.

We're like the person in the relationship who hopes their abusive partner will change for the better one day. News flash to everyone and myself, it's not going to get better. 😔
    We need to stop tolerating all the bad behaviors from the Bears and switch teams. I was thinking about switching to the Steelers. They have similar vibes as the Bears, without all the dysfunction. They're an organization who knows how to keep a coach for a long time. If Tomlin retired, the best people for the job would be fighting to become the next Steelers head coach. That's not the case for the Bears. We will never have an amazing, long lasting coach because a person who would be that amazing coach, doesn't want to work for the dysfunctional Bears.

    Even though Poles and Eberflus kept saying they leadership and the teams was great!
    The culture of the last year's team was Justin Fields, he was the team's leader on the field. They trade the culture of the team for 6th round pick!
    It will take Williams a year or two to possibly develop in that role. That is one of many oversight Poles and Eberflus messed up.
    The sad thing is the argument was never WIlliams vs Fields... it was Fields and trade the 1st overall pick for a top 3 pick, a 2nd round, 5th round and 1st or 2nd round this year.
    Imagine a scenario of Justin Fields, Marvin Harrison Jr, Jared Verse and Zach Frazier with more picks versus Caleb Williams and Rome Odunze

    Screw the Bears! Move them out of Chicago! What a waste of money supporting this team! They are quite content having a .500 team. Keep the fans hopeful and not have to pay big star players! A joke!

    Im beginning to realize our media is as football stupid as the team is.
    Poles ignores the OL and DL for 3 years but he is a long term thinker and future bears team president? Poles has done enough to keep his job after 3 losing seasons and 3 last place finishes?

  • @TheGundamZero

    If it's true that Poles wanted to fire Eberflus after last year but was overruled, this team is cooked and going nowhere. Might as well just kept Phillips as head of Football Operations.

    The two leaders who need more shine are TJ Edward’s and Cole Kmet. There is some selfish players on this team, like JJ and to a point DJ Moore. They brought Keenan Allen to be a leader but he’s in for his next contract. Too many Indians not enough chiefs

    Dude he’s a rookie he’s gonna learn gonna make mistakes. He’s not gonna come in and be a superstar we thought just yet. We’ve seen it in glimpses. Let’s just chill potsy thought Caleb was gonna come in an have the instincts in game situations of a 5 year vet.

  • @Yo_RJ
    @Yo_RJ 2 дні тому +2

    Comical to say Caleb doesn’t have the IT factor. He’s a rookie☠️ in a terribly managed organization that has overcome terrible coaching and a terrible offensive scheme that has 3 receivers running routes in the same area of the field and is putting up great numbers in spite of it. And then acting like if Kliff was here we would be better off ☠️☠️☠️

    Leadership is such a nothingburger. The reality is the skill players are so hyped and they're not actually good at football. Some of these guys (and it's not just one) are practically a liability on the field and they're your highly paid "leaders".
    No one is scared to play the Bears in man coverage and that's not leadership, that's not having enough athleticism. Who cares about C's on chests. Leadership can't turn anyone into a dynamic athlete.

    Until Poles stops coveting O-lineman who mirror his own shitty NFL career, our Qb is doomed. Never seen a GM value so many mid to low tier o-lineman. Braxton Jones has NO business being a starting LT any more than Charles Leno did. We repeat the same ishh over and over again. It’s sickening.

    Ryan Poles wants to….errrr… The CLAN thinks otherwi$e. Kevin Warren says so… errrr… the CLAN $ay$, I don’t think so, try again. Get rid of Eberflus? Nah, the CLAN doe$n’t want to eat the last two year$ of hi$ contract to upgrade.
    The owners: Virginia and the CLAN... "they" still make all the important football/business decisions and have the FINAL say... The CLAN is the problem, many players have “checked out” and YOU are still filling their $eat$ AND they appreciate it.

    I dont want to hear it. Yall blamed a stud young prospect in justin fileds for all the bears problems. Talking about hes slow at progressions and holds the ball. He tried telling yall the coaching was doing this to him. Now the new golden boy has the same issues with a better team. And they look worse. KEEP THE SAME ENERGY. This is on the organization. And its especially in poles. You dont get rid of good players for no reason, you dont get rid of players cause theyre not your guy, and you dont tank. Once you let loosing be ok. Thats your culture..gross
