Yes, Evelyn Hugo was my MOST anticipated book to read, I ordered my copy on BOTM and still in transit going here in the Philippines, and that spoiler will really lessen the *surprise factor* of the book for me... will really affect my experience on reading the book. Sorry, but I am just really sad about it. Nice haul, tho.
@@GeraldTheBookworm Ahhh, that sucks, I'm sorry. Tbh, I didn't know that was something that readers weren't made aware of! Isn't it in the blurb or something? If not said directly it's at least strongly hinted at in the blurb... I haven't read the book yet but I knew about the "spoiler" (having read the blurb...) and it frankly is what made me want to read the book. So I don't think it's as much of a surprise or mystery and the story is strong even if you know that in advance. So I hope and believe you can still enjoy the story. I've heard it's amazing.
you are such a peach! loving your content. i’m working so hard on my dutch and am hoping i can read chapter books sometime next year. 🤞 the house on the cerulean sea is also high up on my TBR ✨
the only thing i love more than your chaotic energy is your jeans, omg can we just talk about how cool they are?! also, i read the hunting party this summer and i loved it! hope you'll enjoy it when you pick it up c:
The Waves by Virginia Woolf is a really good classic. Her writing style is so sensory and motivated by each individual character and imo its her best book and, despite that kind of style, it doesn't end up procrastinating as much as it sort of feels like she does in things like Mrs Dalloway and Orlando.
I’ve tried a room of one’s own and I could not get through it for the life of me (even though it is SO SHORT) hahaha. But I will check this one out!! Thank you ✨
About DUNE, I have tricks for better understanding. - My copy is Dune Deluxe edition 9780593099322 so there are some glossary, explanation and map on the back. When I don’t understand something, just flip to the last pages. - Sometimes if it’s not in the glossary, I just google it, example: Gom Jabbar Dune. There will be explanation directly on Google or on dune.fandom.com. - But sometimes I got lazy and just go with it. It will be explain few pages later. Dune is a hard book to read, not gonna lie about that. I think it’s the highest grossed science fiction book/series ever. Also best example of soft science fiction, since it dealt with social, politic, economy rather than math calculation or technology. But it’s worth it! Once you finish the first book and you like it, there will be no turning back. Welcome to DUNE cult 😂 Hope you love it ❤️
Love your energy! I think you can edit bits in the editor section of your youtube studio, so you don't have to reupload. I am not sure though tbh hahah
Hi guys! This is a reupload because of an accidental spoiler 🌼🌷
I watched the first video but didn't even spot the spoiler.. =D
