While I think this is valuable information to utilize, we also have never seen a rookie QB come into a situation anywhere near as good as what Caleb is stepping into. You have two legit WR1’s in DJM and Keenan and another potential WR1 of the future in Odunze, a serviceable TE in Kmet, and a decent RB duo in Swift and Roschon. So it isn’t entirely fair to compare Caleb’s situation with any other before him. Now on the flip side, if he doesn’t produce out of the gate as expected, then that shows that maybe the community shouldn’t have been as high on him to begin with given all the talent he is surrounded with.
I definitely hear where you are coming from. My concern with DJ is that he isn’t in a situation where he’s going to get 27+% of the target share due to all of the weapons around him.
Most of the QBs who were able to support Top 24 or Top 36 WR finishes, did not have the options that Caleb will.
I love DJ but it’s still somewhat complex to think thru for me 🙏🏼
@@FantasyLandFootball Yeah I get that. I think it is risky to gamble on DJM as a top 12 WR but I think he’s a safe bet to be top 24 with the upside of top 12. I think the Bears drafting Odunze hurts Keenan more than it hurts DJM. IMO Keenan and Odunze either vulture each other or Keenan is the clear-cut WR2 on the team with Odunze being a non-factor in year 1. I don’t know if DJM gets a 27+% target share given all the options but I think he gets the most targets and given that in this analysis, there isn’t a single QB that had the situation that Caleb is stepping into, I am willing to bet on DJM as a top 24 guy
I might have around 5% Jefferson. I am gladly drafting Chase and St Brown over him. If I don’t get them I just take either Bijan or breeece.
I am 100% avoiding the Bears. Don’t trust Caleb Williams at all. There is not enough to go around. Moore, Odunze, Allen, Swift, Kmet, Everett. That’s just ridiculous. I have a hand full of swift, Allen and a couple of the other guys. I have been regretting even the small amount of shares I already have.
I think that's a good amount of exposure and a smart way of going about it!
If we’re saying that there’s a 60% chance that a rookie QB will produce a WR3, wouldn’t that mean that we’re drafting Terry McLaurin at his ceiling?
I’d suggest he’s the least risky myself compared to other WRs attached to Rookie QBs. Just based on each of their prices.

I never trust rookie QBs period….same w/WRs….the c-ships I’ve won over the years were always w/a proven QB….all of these takes by other channels about rookie QBs are all guesses/hype up to get views… just like w/other players coming in…trust your gut & draft wisely!🤙🏾
Yeah unfortunately based on ADP, some of these WRs do give me cause for concern 🙏🏼

Not worried about QB at all. Guys are leaving decent QBs on the table late. In all my mock drafts so far I’m still getting guys like Dak, Herbert and Cousins super late in the draft. My question is, how can we say Lamb is going to be a top 5 player this year and Prescott not going until like pick 75? Shouldn’t their positions corelate??
Always comes down to rushing upside with dak there isn’t much
